From Inquirer (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/topstories/topstories/view/20090905-223703/Palace-announces-holiday-exemptions)
The business process outsourcing (BPO) and electronics industries are not covered by the Palace’s proclamation of Monday as a non-working holiday, Malacañang said Saturday.
The BPO and electronics industries requested the exemption through Trade Secretary Peter Favila, Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said over government-run dzRB.
”We all know that the operations of the BPO and the electronic industries are 24/7,'' he said.
Sana hindi na nilahat ang electronics companies! Eh kung hindi naman 24/7 ang operation namin sa design eh! :grrr:
