To Jobstreet applicants, what does that update really mean? Are there chances of getting called for an interview even with that status?

it just means they considered your application but there are currently no positions that would suit you. the chances of getting a callback is very slim, you can always apply to others anyway.

One of my Jobstreet applications had that "Kept for Reference" status for quite some time, then it became "Unsuccessful" yesterday. Anyway, I agree that we can always apply elsewhere anyway. ;)

Sometimes, the status in jobstreet isn't accurate.

There were times when my application was unsuccessful but the status is still "Under consideration". There were also other instances that the person was hired but jobstreet posted their app as "Unsuccessful".

Yes there is a chance for an interview even with that status. I just had mine yesterday.
