Hi to all,

Anyone here knows where i could find a good reference site about the recommended salary ranges for IT professionals with regards to different position and rank here in our country.

Thanks.

A local technology publication conducts an annual survey, but apparently does not publish the results online. You might want to start with that.

Our good friend zimdude started a discussion about this a while back:

COMPUTERWORLD Phils Annual IT Salary/Job Satisfaction Survey (http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php3?threadid=10550)

Just to add...

You may also try http://www.i-philippines.ph

It's the government's official site with regard to its IT initiatives. You'll find a lot of info, including salary ranges of Philippine IT professionals versus US IT professionals. And some other useful info. Check it out. :)

According to i-philippines, the average CEO gets $6,788/month? I think P350,000/month is a major multinational CEO's salary... or maybe some PExers (in the Philippines) make that already - as employees, and not in an entrepreneurial venture.

Actually, zim, that figure seems to be reasonable. I know a lot of CEO's who make more than that... Is the figure too high or too low for you? :)

The CEO of a MAJOR Multinational company in the Philippines makes between P1M and P2M PER MONTH if you factor in all the benefits - eg. tax shield, housing, company car, stock options, bonuses, etc.

how about our dot-com CEOs? how much are they earning, or did they earn anything at all? ;-)

Well I guess I'm out of touch since I've never worked at a major multinational. Oh well, you guys can take that salary - I'm not really interested in being a CEO! :) I also didn't think that salaried employees get paid in the millions, I thought this was the realm of the self-employed.

In any case, P350,000/month is probably not indicative of the typical CEO salary, if you include the small businesses... maybe it would be the MEAN (average) salary factoring in the P1M/month on the high end.
