Where do the average working man hang out after work?

The hangouts of choice, I think, are the ihaw-ihaw and bar-and-grill type places. The choice of place depends on the general income level of the group members.

I would think, though, that having a drink or hanging out after work is not a daily affair - it could get quite expensive. Fridays, or paydays, are probably more reasonable.

Once upon a time, Shakey's was a popular after work place, and it wasn't because of the ambiance. It was because of cheap beer sold by the pitcher and plenty of loud music.

I think Shakey's has reinvented itself, though. It isn't so cheap anymore, and the loud music has been replaced by big screen TVs showing basketball games.

Salumeria :) 5 thirsty pag sweldo :) (ada's words not mine) hehehe...anyway, G/F Sunrise Terrace Condominium 100 - Perea St., Legaspi Village Makati City :) it's a place you can go to relax and unwind after a tough day :) good food and service :)

but anyway...usually working people go to restaurants like Krokodile, Gerry's, Congo and others :) i believe one of the reasons they like eating here is that it's a "sharing restaurant", you don't really order for yourself alone. It's more relaxed this way.
