napapansin nyo ba pag nanonood kayo sa HBO may buttons sa lower left corner ng screen? minsan blue minsan red? ano yun?

it looks like a little green circle with something in it.

they're ratings!

napansin ko kasi Sex and The City and Saving Private Ryan nagiging orange...and if you have that Star Mandarin their ratings before each film are the same as those buttons...so those are Chinese words inside those circles...they also have those buttons in Hallmark!

Yup, they're ratings alright. Instead of our GP, PG stuff they use color coded buttons. Cinemax has them too i think.

blue means GP
green means PG
orange (or yellow) is kinda like NC-17
red is R

actually i've only seen the red button once on Star Chinese and a lot of times on the Mega Channel...

I've seen the red button on HBO only once... it was a movie about Africans who were captured to be made into slaves by some Spaniards, but they revolted and got captured by Americans, who claimed the Africans as their own slaves... I think this movie got the red button because of the violence at the beginning of the movie...

Sa Cinemax den pala may mga buttons na ganun. I think they're useless kung di naman nila ini-explain ibig sabihin nun.
