The Sporanos, Queer As Folk, et al: When are they hitting our shores???

Have you seen these series? I wonder when they'll be brought to the country. I read somewhere that Studio 23 planned to air Sex and the City, but too much censorship of the script to suit freeTV viewership will destroy the whole point of the series. Is HBO planning to air these series?

What other shows do you want to see on cable/TV?

if local networks are having a hard time trying to air sex and the city, then goodluck with the sopranos -- it's not only got sex and nudity, but f-words are flying a mile a minute, and don't even forget the violence, man!

i don't think Queer as Folk will ever be shown in the Philippines. Have watched the first season in DVD and its almost porn....

Kung kahit nga sa US medyo may censorship pa on this (but in Canada no cuts daw), paano pa kaya sa Catholic-majority country like ours..

Meron pa bang Sex and the City pinapalabas sa RPN? I checked it out when they plugged it, pati yung word na sex cinensor eh. Dapat ginawa na lang nilang *bleep* and the city yung title. :hmm:

I don't think they will ever be shown here. The Soprano is too violent. QAF is too sexy/obscene/taboo ( depending on which group you're coming from :lol: ).

Mas madami pang conservative Asian countries keysa satin. Nah, I don't think papasa yan sa cable. Yung Band of Brothers pinalabas sa HBO Asia. Also Sex and the City with minor cuts.

i think it's IMPOSSIBLE for hboasia to air the sopranos. ok na sana yung mga vcd, pero kulang naman, and hindi pa lumalabas dito ang season 2 although it's been out months before.
