Hello you all pexers just wanted to get some inputs...

here's the deal im planning to put up an extension on this exsisting organization called CCCI (Cebu Chamber Commerce and Industries) what im planning is to put up an extension called CCCI Jr Executive......so it will be like a bus. organization for the Teenagers. so could you give me some inputs on what kind of approach in making the proposal?

Will you be trying to reinvent the Jaycees (http://www.juniorchamber.org/)? Why don't you just set up a chapter in Cebu?

Jaycess? well could you give me small breifing on it...and the reason too on the CCCI Extension is coz i know the Board memebers on it...and its the biggest in cebu are you a jaycee member?and i think they already have a chapter here in cebu now

No, Corn Chips, I am too old to be a member of the Jaycees. The maximum age for that association is 39.

The word "Jaycee" comes from the letters JC, which is short for "junior chamber (of commerce)". The organization is similar to what you want to put up. If you want a briefing, go to the Jaycee International website. Click on the "Jaycees" word in my earlier post and you will get there.

I agree with what lupuS said. I'm not necessarily endorsing the Jaycees, but if your objectives are the same as theirs, there's no need to reinvent the wheel.

The Jaycees are established worldwide and have years of expertise in organizing and developing groups such as what you want to do. One important advantage of joining them is that you get access to an international network of chapters which are already operating.

but if you could give me more inputs aside from the JC it would be much more better like what kind of service should we provide to benefit companys and at the same time generate our own funds to develope more key people in the organization.
