L2 nga ba o TSR2? juding by the pay grade parang TSR2 naman ang ni-offer. I doubt kung ganun ganun na lang i-offer ang technical mentorship lalo na for someone new sa account. and as Psion said matrix does not hire L2/TL externally na. then again I could be wrong...

The job offer that i've signed says its for TSR L2. Recruitment specialist informed me that we are the pioneer batch for TSR L2 that was hired externally for this account. I would say I'm pretty much qualified since I already signed the job offer. I have solid 3 years back ground with cust service, 1 year + as coach, 1 year + in technical support and an ongoing MBA degree at the Ateneo. Even if they assign me at Matrix, ill be gladly accept it. I came from DELL badge site with 2 years + experience

Kaya nga parang ang gulo nung offer at position nya. Kung L2/SME position nya pang TSR2 lang yung sahod nya. Kung agent level lang mataas yung offer sa kanya. TP hires externally sometimes, yung isang kawavemate ko TL eh, but then again he was hired for Intuit as well. Baka Intuit SME/L2 nga kaso mababa offer sa kanya..

Based on the job description that was provided to me, it is for an agent position and Intuit account. Salary did not match what I was gettting from DELL before. Hi. I can only speak for what I signed for with ETEL. re-read above. I'm not sure how much they give for no experience technicians. Benefits? as with other BPO companies, benefits would include health card and life insurance. With ETEL, u can enroll ur parents as dependents if u are single, but u need to pay a minimal amount for it. other benefits include 30% night diff, Quarterly bonus of up to 25% of your salary (based on performance). there. what else do u need?

That I can't exactly remember. But probably around that range because our night differential is only 20%. So if you are saying take home pay is 11 to 12k, that is not bad at all.

My contract tells me that my position is Tech Support Rep Level 2 - ibig sabihin ba nito ay TSR 2 or L2 o wala lang? Kasi ang pagkakaintindi ko base dun sa JO ay technician/front line position with Level 2 Salary grade. Hindi ba technician din ang tawag sa TSR? Sa DELL kasi technician ang tawag sa lahat ng TSR. ewan ko sa ETEL. anyways, i don't care about the LABEL. I will just do what my responsibilities and perform every month.

I'm sure it will be worthwhile, I always make sure that I enjoy my stay in the company that I'll be working with. Kaya nga lagi ako more than 1 year sa isang company. 1 year and 3 months sa Daksh and 2 years and 2 months sa DELL. Enjoying one's stay in the company is really up to the person himself/herself. kasi kung puro negativity na lang ang nasa utak ng isang agent tapos di pa performer, di talaga ** tatagal sa company na un. worse is magiging call center hopper na lang ** for life.

Working full time and studying part time for MBA degree at the ATENEO entails a lot of sacrifices. There are times I only have 2 hours of sleep when I have school on weekdays and no time for nights outs on weekends. I'm lucky enough that I was able to get good schedules when I was still with DELL and I never experienced conflicts between school and work. Good thing my TM gets schedule that is not in conflict with my school and of course we need also to get approval from my co-team members.

If you are thinking of going to the ATENEO for your MBA, think twice or more than that. Pray for it. And also know what is your purpose or objective of getting an MBA degree.

If you only want the title, go ahead! enroll in ATENEO, that is your option or choice. Passing every subject would be easy for you because you can select Prof who can easily give you a grade of 4 base only on your attendance. There are really those types of Professors. Pwede ka pa maging dean's list every term. but then again you are just wasting your time, effort and also big amount of money.

But if your objective is to learn, to know how to be a strategic thinker, to know more about the business, which I believe most call center professionals ay wala nun, go ahead, enroll at the ATENEO. Mamimili ka talaga ng mga prof na matututo ka. mahirap pumasa pag ganun kasi madaming requirements, mahirap ang mga cases, mahirap ang exam... at the end of the day its really worth it. Thats what I've been doing so far and I really enjoy it. I'm 6 subjects left + STRAMA (na parang thesis sa MBA), kaya 3 terms na lang ako. target date of grad is june 2010.

Btw, SILs you earn change depending on agent level and tenurity. From 1 per month, they will increase to 1.5 then 2 depending on level and tenurity. I just forgot how it works and already deleted it in my email.. Example, for me: Im TSR 2 and i've been with etel for more than a year so the SIL I earn is 1.5 per month once i reach 2 years its going to be 2 per month. Maximum is 2 per month.

There was a memo regarding fixing the SIL's to a specific number per year and it should be consumed otherwise forfeited na sya. And its not convertible to cash after the year or when you resign. Before, when you resign, converted lahat ng available SIL's. May mga kakilala nga ako almost 50 SIL's pa ang hindi nagagamit. Let me just correct you all regarding PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL and PERFORMANCE BONUS. Magkaiba sa tech support at sales/customer service. Sa tech support:
(1) Quarterly bonus of up to 25% of your monthly multiplied by three months which is taxable
(2) The last that I know, performance appraisal is based on 6 months of operations data. So, yung mga Tech pet, language and other trainings hindi kasama. It's usually the last three months of your proby period. And the basis of regularization is your 4th month. So after 4 months, kapag on an average eh hindi ka naka- 2.00, tsugi ka na.
For Non-Tech accounts:
(1) Bonus can be up to 8% only. Since marami naman silang spiffs and incentives like commissions...etc.

Reg PA is still 6 months. What I'm saying is, the 4th month becomes the basis if you're going to be "regularized" or in other words, going to stay until you become a regular employee.

It would depend on the program..its usually within the range of 2k to 3k. A regularization PA is the weighted average of these 3 scores:
(1) Client Specific Training
(2) Transition Queue/soft deployment scores
(3) Operations scores after being endorsed by training to Ops

the third one is starts on your first day in Ops until your 6th month. All is weighted and the resulting number has a corresponding percentage. That is then multiplied to your monthly rate before regularization, then multiplied by 6 (months). But this is taxable, I'm sorry. I'm speaking from tech support. I don't know how it is with other departments.

The Interview(s) (sensya na hindi ko alam ezct number) would just comprise how you would handle yourself when you speak to a customer but the interviewer would ask about your experiences while you were studying or from your previous work experience. If you would be able to exude confidence, then papasa ka no matter how many interviews pa yan.

Around 2 more interviews since you're already done with the initial interview. 2nd interview will be about you or whats written on your resume while the 3rd one is some sort of background check or what happened to you before. Just be calm and confident. :D

im already done with the second interview (background check and what happened to me before, more on situational and behavioral questions ) i also passed all the examination.. (written, call simulation and yung timed test for 8 min.) but the thing is during my last interview my HR told me na.. they'll give me the result of my last interview via email..
does that mean i did'nt pass ?
well dun din sa mga nauna saken i think ganun din,kasi right after the interview they went home na, they were asked to go home na and wait for their email... which is lalabas next the next day before lunch, im a bit confused now..
is that their way of saying that i did'nt pass their last interview...?

I didnt understand some parts of your post.

Im just going to post what happened to me when i applied and during training.

First is the initial interview, then exams, then 2 more interviews. After that there will be a phone simulation where they will ask you to sell something and convince them to buy the product you are selling. Next is the I.T. or tech exam. After that, if you pass job offer na agad if not email na ata ngayon unlike before na papauwiin ka na.

Training

One week language training and client specs. Im not sure but i think they dont terminate you even if you fail the exams during training. One of my peers during training failed most of the exams but he wasnt terminated. After that its product specs, where they will teach you everything you need to know about the account. Training will depend on what account your assigned. I was assigned first assigned to Intuit, so all training were about the tools and things you need to know about intuit. No PC troubleshooting, OS ,etc. Then i was transferred to Matrix (dell) and thats where they will train you about PC troubleshooting, OS, networking, and dell pcs.

10 days lang ang LPET (2weeks) then on the 9th and 10th day dun na yung assessment.
Once the trainer sees na hindi ka pa ready, they will advise you to retake LPET (if im not mistaken 5 days nalang).

What's good about LPET is that you get to know more of the usual com skills plus the allowance (P150/day sakin nun).
Kung sa labas ka kukuha ng training, *** pa magbabayad, but dito *** na ittrain *** pa ang babayaran and you'll be sure na qualified trainers ang magtuturo sayo...

Hello guys, I applied in jobstreet.com jobselect so when I passed the initial interview, I was surprised that they assigned me at etel. haha. I didn't know what at achievement it is to be able to pass all the requirements (4 interviews, 3 exams) until the moment i came across this thread. lol. So that's the reason why there were only about 3 of us left still being processed out of all those who applied the whole day.

So anyway, the HR who assisted me the whole day asked how do I feel about being assigned as a TSR, I said that would be great (since I prefer troubleshooting rather than doing a lot of sales talk) and I signed a contract about Technical Skills Pre-employment Training Program.

Question is, this isn't like the LPET or any other PET that was mentioned in other earlier posts, right? Because I asked her what if I failed the training and she said I shouldn't worry about anything. If I fail the training, I will be given slot as a CSR.

Another thing, I requested to be assigned at libis, and my mom told me that I should have chosen Shaw instead because transportation will be difficult if I will be located at libis, so I want to transfer at shaw, can I still request for it before I start the training? If yes, how? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello guys, I applied in jobstreet.com jobselect so when I passed the initial interview, I was surprised that they assigned me at etel. haha. I didn't know what at achievement it is to be able to pass all the requirements (4 interviews, 3 exams) until the moment i came across this thread. lol. So that's the reason why there were only about 3 of us left still being processed out of all those who applied the whole day.

So anyway, the HR who assisted me the whole day asked how do I feel about being assigned as a TSR, I said that would be great (since I prefer troubleshooting rather than doing a lot of sales talk) and I signed a contract about Technical Skills Pre-employment Training Program.

Question is, this isn't like the LPET or any other PET that was mentioned in other earlier posts, right? Because I asked her what if I failed the training and she said I shouldn't worry about anything. If I fail the training, I will be given slot as a CSR.

Another thing, I requested to be assigned at libis, and my mom told me that I should have chosen Shaw instead because transportation will be difficult if I will be located at libis, so I want to transfer at shaw, can I still request for it before I start the training? If yes, how? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

last week i took up IT exam the basic, hardware, software....Through Gods' grace I passed the exam and will start my training on Monday at Alabang. I would like to know kung anong klase ng training yung one week na yon. Right now I'm studying windows vista, hardware ng PC for preparation kasi gusto kong ipass yung training. Then after training may kailangan pa daw akong itake na online language exam.
1)So I would like to know kung ano yung training ng Tech support sa Alabang para makapagstart nakong mag aral online
2)at ano naman yung online language exam, ilang araw ito?

Now i get it.. You're in the same boat with pa3n. You're also endorsed for TechPet. You'll be trained several things regarding computers (hardware and software), im not sure about the exact traning since i didnt go through techpet. Deretso client at product specs agad ako.

karamihan naman ng delta issues and concern eh agent generated. sa analysis namin, sobrang konti lang talaga *** lockup and delta related issues, at may mga workaround naman na prinovide *** mga dell folks.

wag ka mag alala, kung meron man tumatawag at pumepetiks hindi yun cc3 na CBG kasi, ultimo relaunch ng delta at restart ng system eh approval ko muna. style kasi ng mga agents, magrerelaunch ng delta para makapetiks...eh ang daming tinuro ng dell sa amin na workaround :)

Yes, if the recruitment process is still the same then there will be a phone simulation. They will give you a list of products that you need to sell. Just be confident and everything will be ok*okay* :D

Whew! I just had my medical exams last monday, Recruitment said that I need to pass that medical before I can proceed to VERSANT and they would call for my schedule. I was profiled as TSR for DELL. But until now, I haven't received any call from them. Can I follow up the results of my medical? They also said that If I pass VERSANT, I can start on monday... Help? Sir Paul?

Etel is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better compared to TP. I came from TP before, and you'll have alot of issues with them. Yung attendance bonus, bawal absent or kahit isang minuto na late, overbreak, missing kung hindi byebye attendance bonus. Daming salaray disputes at sobrang kup.al **** hehe..

So same pa rin pala recruitment process akala ko iba na.. Since exams ka pa lang, after that may 2 pa interview tapos phone simulation. Kung CSR kinuha mo tapos na pero kung TSR may Tech exam pa.

pag punta mo sa shaw, walk in ka.. login ka sa may internet kiosk nila dun.. me fill kang mga information.. pero bago nung, based on my experience, nang tumawag yung taga ETEL sa akin, natural lang naman na naipapasa yung phone interview dahil tingin ko wala namang bumabagsak dun..hayun, bibigyan ka ng I.d number, username and Password then log in ka dun sa kiosk nila pag punta mo.. usually kase, sa internet sila nag papaonline exam,kaso in my case, the email didn't work kaya yung recruiter suggested na mag punta na lang ako dun sa may shaw branch to look for a person who happened to be the test master...

then hayun tatawagin na kayo..kung nainterview ka na sa phone, malamang diretso ka na sa exam...ako, umabot lang sa 3rd exam or the listening exam...pero malamang ang binagsak ko yung 2nd exam which was 75 items...25 minutes lang yun...Grammar yun, mga preposition..yung unang exam, essay din yun...15 items lang..pero 20 minutes naman yun..yung 3rd exam,as I've mentioned, listening skills...7 items for 5 minutes but first you have to listen to the recording(Talasan mo pandinig mo, kase medyo garalgal yung sound system nila)pero you're facing the back part of the questionaire, when the recording stops, that's the only time you can answer the questions for 5 minutes..

Etel is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better compared to TP. I came from TP before, and you'll have alot of issues with them. Yung attendance bonus, bawal absent or kahit isang minuto na late, overbreak, missing kung hindi byebye attendance bonus. Daming salaray disputes at sobrang kup.al **** hehe..

Its better to talk with your trainer, he/she might be able to do something about it. But most likely it will be unpaid leave as you cannot file your SIL but who knows your trainer might use her/his powers.. hehe..

Willing ibayad sa isang call center training? Hindi ko magets.. Wala kang ibabayad sa training. ALL call centers or jobs require you to be trained first, hindi naman pwede yung deretso trabaho ka agad.

Tsr 1 is 15k Basic + 3k allowance, im not sure kung nagiba na ba. Walang training allowance. Sweldo na agad pero Tsr0 level mo so bale 13.5k ata + 3k allowance..

Ive been with 2 call centers before (Pacific Hub and TP), so far Etel is the best. Ok naman culture and environment. Pahirapan na nga lang sa Metrics kasi may sales na, which really sucks a$$. And the removal of Tsr4 & 5 and the 6 months review period for promotion is sh!t and is causing alot of agents to move out of the company.. :D But its still good..

Based on personal experience, TP has never ending salary disputes, forced vto/ato and management is worse compared to etel. Read the thread for TP here and you'll have an idea what kind of a company TP is..

From MRT, walking distance lang sya, katapat ng starmall, you'll see etelecare there, you won't miss it.

Pumasok ka dun sa katabi ng mcdo na etelecare, maliit na office sya. Hindi *** sa loob ng building mismo, just the little office beside mcdo.

Ideally, you should be there in the morning, kasi 1 day hiring process ang etel, It took me 7 hours to finish the whole application process., so gagabihin ka talaga kapag medyo late ka na nagpunta.

Its better if you call them and follow up on your application. Im not sure what the process is nowadays but before it was 1 day processing only and if you fail they tell you immediately..

Chat is advantageous if you may have a poor accent but good grammar and spelling skills. It's also easier to seem polite and mention the needed spiels. Plus even if you're really pissed at the customer they wont be able to tell.
For the most part it's not too hard to juggle 2 chat sessions at once. Depende talaga sa issue ng customers.

i had my sad experience in etelecare a while ago. btw, may last cc experience is with nco, which only lasted for about a month due to chickenpox. isinama ko sa resume ko yung nco. nainterview ako nung matabang lalake n may balbas, tapos tinanong nya kung bakit ganun daw nangyari sakin sa nco. sinabi ko yun kung ano nangyari. di nya man lang ako binigyan ng chance ipakita yung skills ko. di man lang ako pinagtest, sabi tatawagan na lang daw ako. sana may taga etelecare recruitment ** para maliwanagan ako sa nangyari kanina. sa shaw branch ako nagapply. kung may HR jan from nco i hope pm nyo ako sa ym ko... superboni25

Hindi naman siya sobrang hirap, may accounting lang kasi na kasama pero most of the times software errors, licenses, saka how-to yung mga calls. Its going to be super queueing during tax season (Jan-April) but during the rest of the year avail naman. Hindi ko lang sure kung nagbawas ba sila o hindi. Last year, 0 calls ako nung Christmas at New Year hehehe...

1. From my experience, final interview was with the account manager ata/daw. Questions about you or your past work experiences. Call simulation, you will need to sell some things. Nakalimutan ko na kung ano eh..

2. See Post Above this one. If things havent changed, hindi naman mandatory yung upselling. Ang maganda sa sales ng Intuit may commission ka sa benta mo unlike dito sa Matrix, walang wala..

3. Nilipat na ata lahat ng Intuit accounts sa Shaw

Hi to all of Etelecare people...i have a dilema & i really need your advice...i just signed my job offer yesterday coz i don't wanna miss out sa opportunity..but i have 2 kids & my wife's in school graduating this march and we don't have a nanny to take care of our kids...so i made calls yesterday hoping to find one but unsuccessful. I'm asked to start on monday to work for Etel but i have a situation at home...now given my concern it's best if i settle my family's situation first before working...

Is it possible to retract the contract lalo't may bond sa Etel? afterall sa monday pa naman ako start but fact is i signed the contract already...ayaw ko naman mag AWOL but as a father mas ayaw ko naman lagay sa alanganin mga anak ko...
