Hey guys, would you guys know of any international recruiters that hire people from Manila for posts abroad? Doesn't matter what country, or heck, even what post! I personally am looking at perhaps teaching positions in the US, Canada, or UK (Switzerland would also be great! hahahaha :D )

Anyone know of any such agencies? :)

NC :D

ooops sorry Workaholic does this thread violate the forum rules? If it does, pls. feel free to take it down. I just realized it might be in competition pala with Jobsdb in hindsight. Sorry! (If ever, I'll just re-post in Working Filipino) :)

According to a teacher friend of mine, the US is hiring teachers from the Philippines, in fact when I get back to US, in the plane, I met three recruits who will be assigned a few miles away from SF. I was so sick that I was not able to engage them in a ****-a **** so I can get information. While I was there for a vacation, I came across an ad of a recruitment agency announcing the examination for teachers conducted to qualify for teaching in the US. I cannot just remember the name but it seems it has OMNI in it. While discussing some feedback regarding our recruitment of nurses, I asked our immigration lawyer regarding teachers...he intimated to me that it is true but he does not know the procedure, unlike in the nurses where we have several options.

I suggest that you inquire from the US embassy or better still browse the internet...

Good luck
