Ever been a victim of crime while working in Makati or Ortigas? Please share your sad experiences. I am hoping this will help pexers be in the know and prevent other similar crimes from happening.

Let me share some sad experiences:

1. Just last Friday, my officemate and her friend just left Starbucks Valero cor Herrera, Makati at aroung 7:00 pm. As they were walking towards Alfaro st., a motorcycle zipped by and snatched her handbag. She lost her brand new 8890, her wallet and other personal items. According to the Police, this incident has happened a number of times. Criminals also use owner type jeepneys and even cars to do the snatching.

2. Two months ago, my friends wallet was stolen in Aetna building, Herrera st. makati. The thief was able to enter the building, go to the fifth floor and enter her office. My friend only found out an hour later that her wallet was missing. Apparently the thieves (two women) were caught using her and another persons card in Alabang. Unfortunately, they were able to post bail. Bwisit. By the way, I helped my friend file the case so I saw the two. Mukhang criminal talaga.

3. I was playing counter strike with my son in Perfect Bytes Glorrietta. As we were about to leave, i noticed that my Phone holder that was attached to my belt was empty. That was when I realized my 8890 was stolen. This happend late part of August, 2001.
