Christmas party wearing costumes????!!!!weird

I don't seem to grasp the idea that we have to go to our company christmas party in gruesome costumes. This would be the first in my entire 22 years on earth to be wickedly and openly laughed out by friends, officemates and strangers.:(

SiKnButiful It's not that bad, it's all in the spirit of fun and just to create a different "feel" to the whole affair; otherwise, it's another kainan and inuman na happens to be in December. Di ba, kapag Halloween, presumably you go to halloween parties where you have to don a costume at saka, mayroon dyang may contest pa sa "best in costume"? Unless of course, this is not quite in sync with your persona, then, I would understand your not liking the whole idea. Loosen up and learn to laugh at yourself every now and then. :beam:

umm...i like the playboy bunny costume complete with pink ears and tail! :glee: but of course you ought to have a bod to pull it off but then bridget jones is like a huggeee gal when she wore that so i guess whether youre horizontally challenged or not, you can be okay with it. Of course, you just have to have a tortoise shell face! hehehe...in short, kapal ng mukha! But I think that's the point of costumer parties---to be wild, different...and stand out and best of all, to have fun! :wink:

The office Christmas party's theme this year is "International", whatever that means...

It is much better to be female in this office though because all the men are required to come in drag! There's a contest every year... :lol:

Last year, they had to come as ******! Now, it's Legally Blond I think...

So even if I'm not really planning on going all-out with costume and everything, I'd have fun just laughing at the guys... :D

It's not that bad SiknButiful.... I bet you'll enjoy during your Christmas Party. I remember I had to wear a 70's costume back then (loud colors, flair pants, etc.) and thought I looked weird, but when you're with the others, doesn't matter at all.... the weirder the better! Haha!!! Enjoy!!! ;)

I can relate to this....I've been so used to formal company christmas parties in some fancy hotel that the idea of dressing up in costumes makes me freak out. Maybe you could help me out with some ideas on where to get costumes?

Siguro nahihiya ka lang nga kasi baka pagtawanan ka or something but then if everyone else is in costume, I think it's going to be one fun party! Maybe a little weird but that's what makes it unique!

Kung nahihiya ka, dalhin mo na lang yung costume mo syempre sa venue tapos dun ka na lang magbihis. Tapos magdala ka ng camera for picture-taking. Later on you'll have something to look back to and laugh at. :beam:

If you're a team, maybe you can go as Charlie's Angels :) Powerpuff girls (i think they basically just wear green, yellow and is Blossom pink or orange? then u just add a black band and wear shades or something.) that's cute. Besides Trinity of the Matrix, why don't you go as Lara Croft.

I went to a Christmas party before with Costumes, and it was cute...if you want, i can lend you my elf ears. hehehe and my Santa Hat.

This afternoon we were asked to vote for the theme of our party. One of the themes was "Come as your favorite Christmas character or ornament". :lol: I voted for that.
