I don't think the word "pity" should be used. Anyway who do you pity the most among the Filipino workers?! I pity on those construction workers and those salesladies around.
What's your insight regarding this?

At least they have a job. I don't. Maybe they should pity me.

Wellll........ Happiness is relative so I won't generalize which jobs I think should be pitied....
But I pity those whose rights are being trampled and those who cannot defend their rights as workers because of ignorance or because of the corrupt system we're in....
I pity those who do not enjoy their jobs and those who do not develop themselves in their work.... on the contrary, they even lose their self-esteem.

my heart aches each time I see people who are not happy with their job. their faces screams"i would do this every day just to get a few peso". you can see them everywhere we just dont mind them to much because were earning just a fair amount of salary. they do dirty jobs from selling just about anything in the streets, cleaning offices and running errands.
so don't hesitate to say thank you when your messenger did you a favor. its a big thing for them.

people working their balls off
and, at the end of the day, they only have meager earnings to stretch for the family's expenses.
my job is as sore as hell, but everytime i see these people, i tend to appreciate this job more and more. i just feel so helpless for them.

Kids at work.
Those who are on the streets selling sampaguita ornaments and cigarettes, those who push carts to pick up what we've thrown away. Damn, these kids should be home playing with other kids or at school. One of the most kawawa I had seen was this reed-thin little boy who was probably around 10 years old who was pushing a huge cart all by himself. I could imagine having much difficulty pushing that cart myself. He sure did gather lots of scrap and I talked with him and all he said he had to do all that to put himself in school.

My heart goes out when I see a construction worker in peril. Like for example a man who fixes the lights of the building on the 30th floor.
Another is I pity prostitutes and call boys who are forced to sell their body for a living.
