Hi guys! Ada, Leigh, Ginia, Joy and I talked about starting this thread. Here you can post feedback on the PEx sellers that you have met and bought stuff from.

Are they easy to talk to? Are the products good? Is the price okay? Any negative feedback?

angel02: Bought a bag from her today. Her bags are really nice and very affordable. We work in the same building so meeting with her was easy.

igutz: Bought CDs from him a few months back. Very good condition, no scratches. For a guy, he sure knows how to care for his CDs.

Byte Me: Bought one CD from her. Good condition. Had problems with meeting her though. Had to wait for more than an hour before her helper came to give me the CD. Had a little miscommunication which caused the delay.

Well I've bought music stuff from igutz. I bought audio CDs from him. His stuff (most of them are hard to find or unreleased) are very good and he sells thems for a very reasonable price.

I was able the to have a copy of Slayer's "God Hates Us All" album on the official release date (Sept. 11, 2001) in the US.
That album was released locally just this November!

We bought bags from her this morning. She's very easy to talk to. I posted in her thread and told her that I was interested, and she sent me a PM right away. We were able to agree on a meeting time and place.

I even brought my officemates, namely Leigh, Ginia, Ada and Joy. We went to her car to check out her stuff (bags, shirts, pillows). They were nice, and we all actually bought something from her (Joy and I bought two items each).

The prices are okay, she gave us a discount for certain items but she was honest that she couldn't give a discount for some of the items.

Angel 02 sold us really nice bags, stuff you'd normally see at bazzars.

Prices were reasonable and you can be sure you won't be buying the same bag as the rest of tiangge-going people coz she only sells one or two of the same kind.

I bought my Nokia 8250 from her a few months ago. There was no problem at all, with anything. I was supposed to meet her in Makati but she cancelled, and so she just offered to bring the phone to my house in QC.

The product was okay, brand new, no scratches whatsoever.

He sold to me a Gin Blossoms CD. Nice sana, but the CD was full of scratches. I can't listen to two songs 'cause it skips. :( The CD isn't pirated, but I think it skips since it was full of scratches. But I guess it was my fault that I didn't check when I got it from him. Hirap rin kasi 'cause I was in the street (in front of Italianis along Dela Rosa corner Legaspi Streets). Oh well.

I bought 6 2nd hand CDs (http://pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=33463) from teaSe a couple of months ago and they were all in mint condition. No scratches, no skipping whatsoever. She even gave me a discount since I bought a lot and delivered it to my house since we live near each other. Happiness! :bounce: I didn't buy another CD for months after that. :D

I bought BadGiRL's brand new m500 (http://pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=70392) which was great, of course and real cheap. *okay* We just had lunch together to swap merchandise since she studies near where I work. :)

I recall my post being one about your alleged acts of video piracy and how it taints this community as one that deals subversively in copyrighted materials. The distinct moral difference perhaps between owning an illegal digital copy of a song or film with your activities is that -you're selling it.

It is wrong, it is illegal and it will get your *** in jail. Cop out while you're ahead, I'm sure your DV skillz can be used elsewhere.

In summary, you're barking up the wrong tree, and I AM considering this as an unsolicited commercial message, i.e. SPAM, or in our colloquial, Ma Ling.

Don't get me wrong, as much as I would like to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit among young people, I certainly cannot condone what you do.

I wouldn't advise anyone to deal with this MerryChristmas guy.
Tried texting him 3x about this CPU he sold me with a defective power supply and he never answered or attempted to get in touch with me again to ask if it was working okay.
Kaya pala ayaw nya ibigay landline nya, lolokohin lang ako.
I had to spend an extra P1,500 to have the darned power supply replaced.
I was patient and I was nice to him and that's what I get. :angry:

The thing is... I know he's just using alternicks here in Classifieds...

To each his own. A 256 MB RAM for P1,800 (second-hand) is a good price in my book, considering that an Apacer 128 MB RAM sells for P2,000 in PCX (one of the cheapest available).

I just bought a used Technics stereo system for a very reasonable price. The goods were correctly described in the ad, and the (minor) defects were noted. He takes good care of his sound equipment, which isn't surprising considering he is a music lover.

this is a reply to the message posted by my friend freeman about an incident that occured not so long ago. he posted a thread regarding a swap for his memory chips, 128MBx2. first and foremost, i have no intention of buying his chips for i already have a 256MB stick. it's probably my fault to go out of my way to give a helping hand to others, but that is my nature, sad it may be. now, since i was giving him a favor, i asked him to meet me in pantranco because i gave the stick to my mother-in-law, and since the chip is inside her computer, how in the world can i possibly trade it with him if i don't have it? so i asked him to meet me in pantranco so i can pull out the chip to swap for his goods.

now comes the funny part... since i was the one who wanted to help, i asked him to go with my instructions na lang, para sana mapabilis. alangan namang pupunta ako sa quezon city para kunin *** ram, ibigay sa kanya sa galleria, ibalik ko *** ram sa quezon city, at umuwi ako ng makati? eh sa tingin ko *** mga moderator dito maaawa naman sa taong nasa ganung sitwasyon. medyo kalokohan na un, bugbog naman ang katawan ko nun. i want to help others, but please do your share naman. i recall fairly clearly that one of your chips is not compatible with your system, baka hindi pareho ang voltage or may tama na *** isang chip, but i agreed, that's why the initial meeting will suppose to take place in galleria, which i asked to be moved in pantranco, para sana madali tayong magkikita.

Just bought two sticks of RAM from oman.

Apart from the disproportionately costly door to door option he chose (large aboitiz box when a packet would have sufficed, everything was in good order.

RAM came in packed in anti-static plastic.

He was quite accomodating too, sorry though for taking a bit of time to pay, been down with a cold for the past few days.

Just a request to those who want to sell their wares through PEX: sana lang mag-reply kayo promptly sa mga inquiries ng prospective buyers. Even if sometimes your prospective buyers seem irritatingly makulit in getting details. You seel, that's part of the whole selling process.

Like Snuffleupagus, I got offended when you no longer responded to my queries regarding your parking passes in Park Square. Then you said in your post "...and to those who are really serious..." or something to that effect. Well, Snuffy, I AM (no, mkae that, I WAS) seriously considering buying your passes. I just wanted more details, that's all.

Just bought an HP 920-c Blank ink from him.. It's in perfect condition, still in box, even with the expiry date. He sold it for just P1,000.

He was a bit late, but he informed me that he was going to be late. Okay lang, at least hindi yung sasabihin yung tamang oras tapos d pala dadating agad ^_^

I just wish that some PExers who are selling their stuffs at the CLASSIFIEDS section, would really have those items n hand.

There's this one PExer selling tissues, I can't remeber the nick and I don't wanna bother looking for that thread, I inquired(text) a lot of times about those tissues and even told him/her that I would pick it up at his/her place or store, pero he/she would answer na wala pa daw sa kanya, then how come he/she is posting and selling them here wala naman pala sa kanya ang item,I even told him/her to inform me, and until now wala na, it was around 2 months ago I think. Sometimes it's just frustrating, not to mention it's a waste of time on the buyer's part to be even inquiring etc. tapos wala naman pala yung product.

well, to those who are selling MG and MG2 vcds, pls. check this out ..

RAVE : video quality is good, i must say . dvd-quality ...

RANTS : yung ibang episodes sa vcd, nag-fi-freeze frame, yung iba sira, yung cds me scratches, ang tagal bago mapalitan yung sirang cd or sometimes they don't even bother changing the cd ..

all i can say is that sana naman po kung magbebenta kayo just make sure na ok yung copy nyo .. well, understood na nde maiiwasan yung me sira sa cd pero sana as much as possible, papalitan din naman nde yung tipong "ah, ok, basta naka-benta ako, ok na .. bahala na sya" .. nde naman ata tama yun .. and PLS. make sure na pag magbibigay kayo ng copies, MAKE SURE THAT THE CD HAS NO SCRATCHES .. kahit na sabihin nyong ok yung copy, kung me scratches naman yung cd, balewala rin yun ..
tapos abt the meeting place, naman, sna po yung iba nde na pa-importante like kung nsa Marikina ako, tapos para lang makuha yung replacement for the cd, kailangan ko pang magpunta ng TAFT?? just to get the friggin' 1 cd?? what gives?? ano yun?? kami pang consumer yung mag-a-adjust sa schedule nyo?? aba, sobra naman ata kayo .. kung ganun lang ang gagawin nyo, don't bother selling VCDs .. anyway, i won't be naming names here ..

It's before Sta Lucia coming from Katipunan, landmarks include LApids Barbecue and 7 eleven. My sked is very patchy these days and it would be best if you can come this coming Sunday, 7-9pm.


I've been a buyer and a seller in pex and when I am the SELLER, once I made or enter in an AGREEMENT with the BUYER, I stick with it coz I made my commitment. Sadly, it's not the case with THIS seller. There are two things that irked me:

1. The price she quoted is P650. But she texted me at 4pm Sunday that somebody was willing to buy the TV at P950. If she is expecting a higher price for it, she should have posted "Best Offer" and not quoted a fixed price.

2. She said na "paunahan" (meaning first come, first serve) iyon and she even scheduled the date when I can pick it up. I texted her on Friday if I can make a deposit for the TV and other items that I'm going to buy (we call this "Ernest Money" in banking. This is to signify that a buyer is serious in his intention to purchase the item.) I did not receive a reply from her. I texted her again on Saturday evening inquiring on the specific details on how to get to her place coming from another area (not from Katipunan as she PMd) but she did not have the courtesy to reply. Then on Sunday at 4pm, she texted me: "Somebody wanted to get it and was willing to pay as much as 950 just so I would hold other interested buyers off. Since he's paying more, im planning to sell it to him". She texted this to me on the day, specifically 3 hours before I am supposed to pick up the item.

I texted her back and she replied: "He also texted me late already and i had to think it over what's best to do. In fact had prioritized you over someone else who was willing to get the TV anytime since I made a deal with u before. I shouldn't have said paunahan per se without clarifying other conditions. Im sorry...."

Now, let me just point out some things:
1. Hello, we had an agreement, I'm supposed to pick up the item. Regardless if he texted you early or late, it doesn't matter. You gave your word to me. While we did not have the verbatim "o sige you buy it", the mere fact that we have a schedule is a proof of the agreement.

2. On the "paunahan" and other conditions. Yes, you are the seller and you have the prerogative about setting the conditions. But be honest with yourself that you do not have other "conditions" in mind at the time WHEN you posted your items because if you do then you would have NOT posted a price but indicated something like the one you put for the calculators. You quoted a price which you think is fair with you and the buyer but when somebody upped it, you grabbed it without considering the PRIOR agreement you had. Basically it all comes down to GREED. (Ok, let's just say that she's being practical.... but she's also showing what her values are.... )

3. About prioritizing me over someone who was willing to pick up the TV anytime. Heck, I was willing to pick up the TV anytime. YOU were the one who made the schedule, not me.

I deposited my payment for the book and shipping fee on June 1 and informed him on the same day that the deposit has been made. He replied: "Okay. Will TRY to send you the book tomorrow."

On June 3, I txted him to follow up and the delivery and he replied: "Will send it na."

On June 7, I txted him again and offered to have the book picked up from his office. He replied that he is sick and pick up (from his office) is not possible and that he will send it that day.

Few days after his last text, i sent him several messages to inquire if he has sent the book (obviously hindi pa rin) or whatever reasons he may have from not being able to do so. NO REPLY even to this day (June 16 na).

Ok lang if he has reasons kung bakit hindi nya masend yung book but if he is an honest seller, he could have at least send a PM or text to inform the buyer. Kung hindi sya makalabas dahil busy sa work, I offered to have the book picked-up so it makes me wonder why he did not take that option.

His name is David Dizon, a writer for ABS-CBN News. Fortunately, I have friends who work at ABS and was able to track him down. Kung hindi pa ipinahanap hindi pa ibibigay yung libro. Grabe! Sa halagang P140 ibenenta ang pangalan at reputasyon. Sa ABS-CBN pa naman nagwo-work!!!
