All our life, we will constantly be selling. We will always sell ourselves, our products, our ideas, etc. You don't have to be a professional Account Executive, saleperson, etc. to know how to sell. Anyone can sell. And I guess everyone must sell.
So, pls share how any of you sell (e.g. how do you act in front of a client, what are the do's and don'ts, how do you read a client, how do you know when to push and when to stop, etc...)
thanks :)

Saikee, watch Serendipity. The salesman there knew how to sell. Hard sell but it worked. Nakahanap siya ng katapat niya.
Sorry, babaw post. I personally don't think I'm a very good salesperson excepting a few circumstances when I can...

Hehee this cant come at a better time.
I just sold a toy watch to an office mate.. and to think that it wasnt even my product.. :rotflmao:
It was another officemate's products.. but he was busy with work.. so I decided to promote his.. just for the heck..
Since the product was toys, I immediately went straight to those people whom I knew had nephews and nieces and a bunch of "inaanaks" who were looking for cheap but cute gifts.. So I guess that's knowing your market...
I offered it to them based on the retail price, but offered some bundling incentives to sell more.. so i guess thats a marketing gimmick..
Also offered flexible payment terms to encourage them to get more too.. and I guess it worked.. :D
He's got a lot of orders now.. :)

thanks guys :)
bad trip kasi my office blocked off the daily email tip-things i get from some sites, yung mga nice little helpful tidbits of information, lam mo mga yun? :) kasi daw may mga clients kami who were continuously spammed everyday, getting this unsolicited "helpful info" email daw. hello? dapat mag unsubscribe nalang sila noh. tuloy mga ibang people na nag-be-benefit from these emails nawawalan ng good, free information. hayy.... kasi eh, we have to pay talaga for some other people's ignorance. hehe :D

Read "How to Master the Art of Selling" by Tom Hopkins. This is so far the best and most informative book I've read regarding selling.
