i had technical interviews where i was asked to take a technical exam first then the interview.

when i interviewed with qualcomm, it was nerve-wracking they asked me technical questions that i don't remember na kung ano yon basta concepts i learned during my first few semesters pa. i came unprepared so i paid the price, i didn't get the job.

so far, my most difficult technical interview i would say was the one i had with a startup company. actually, i also came unprepared because i was expecting to have an interview first with the HR not realizing it'll be a phone interview with the director who was acting dept manager at that time. it was an hour interview grabe as in he was just pounding me with technical and analytical questions one after another. some, i failed to answer but i still showed him that i tried to answer them even if i didn't know them. well, i think i passed the test since i was invited for a fly out and eventually, got the offer.
