what do you think about a show formatted after the jerry springer show, or the maury or ricki lake shows, would the pinoy audience buy it? :)

I think that Mel and Jay is the closest thing we have to that kind of show format. It may click, come to think of it, but then again, we'd need something a little more kwela, Pinoy Style.

I think one big reason that Springer and the like are successful is because a lot of their discussion center on sex and infidelity. I don't think these are the kind of topics pinoys would exactly wan't to discuss on the air.

probably...pero i guess maraming magcocomplain, many ppl would not tolerate the profanity and violence of the format (paano ang mga kids baka matoto pang magmura at mangsakit ng kapwa)

It'd sell big. Just visit the UAAP forum, for instance. You can get students from different schools and get them to debate whose school is the best (looks, movie stars, basketball, campuses-- the possibilities are numerous!)
