i saw the trailer of the latest project of gma films... impressive ang trailer, especially those underwater scenes. muro-ami stars cesar montano... what do you think? are you going to watch this movie?

From the looks of it, mukhang kontra-bida ang dating ni Cesar Montano. Looks impressive! Medyo may pagka-Amistad ang ibang scenes.

I think GMA films has produced another excellent film. The plot is very good because it deals a common practice in Palawan and Mindanao. By the looking at the trailer, gusto ko na kaagad manood. Sana it wouldn't be a disappointmnt. Malay mo pang oscar na yan (baka i-snub na naman yan ng FAP). ;)

I've been waiting to see that trailer since I saw this thread but I've only caught glimpses of the last parts.

Will definitely watch it...even if I have to wait for the video.

Very haunting scenes. The boat scene (based on the trailer only) reminded me a lot of Amistad. Great stuff!!!

This film comes from the makers of Jose Rizal right?

a topic on this movie was posted a few weeks ago and many were eagerly anticipating the showing of the film.

at least once a year, we get to watch a filipino movie that is worth our time and money. scriptwriters are now using their imagination... veering away from the "formula" movies of the past. hopefully, this will be the end of the "sing and dance at the beach", the typical "api, tapos maghihiganti" movies, and all those other trashy movie scripts.

bihira yung tagalog movies na inaabangan ko... come to think of it, eto pa lang ang tagalog movie na aabangan ko.

the movie looks interesting...& yes, different from the others...can't help it 'coz most of it was shot under the sea...tralalala..under the sea...(hee!hee! sorry, 'just that i rly rly love the water kingdom--er, whatever yoyu call it!)seriously i'm intrigued by it!

actually creepy sa akin yong part na nakita niya yong wife and baby niya. katakot..
kasi ano nga naman ang mararamdaman mo kung makakita ka ng mother and child sa ilalim ng tubig..
pero ok lang ang movie. yon nga lang...bitin.
nakakapagod ang mga underwater scenes kasi pare-pareho lang.

To everyone who watched: Do you think it really deserved the best picture award? I know for one thing na siguro wala na talagang choice ang mga judges. Anyway, storywise, flop! flop! flop!

Philippine movies are still pathetic, no matter how much they try... *sigh*
