i cant believe it.
talaga bang ganun?
ang daming kailangan,- blood, urine, stool, etc.

and do u have to take all your clothes and kailangan pang tumuwad at silipin ng doctor yung mga private parts mo?,, di pa parang inapropriate yun?

:D

Hello!

I'm a doctor and now working for an industrial clinic, actually di pa yan mabusisi. Pag papunta pa nga abroad or seamen mas maraming tests.

PEro we are all trained for that...... actually nakakapagod magbusisi ng katawan nang may katawan, but we are only doing our jobs and obligations as doctors. Para sa iyo yun kung examinin ka ng mabusisi, it's for your own good and safety bago ka ma-employ para wala kang maging problema in the future.

Remember: PREVENTION is always better than CURE!

STAY FIT AND HEALTHY!

God bless! :)

That is the only way of checking if you are physically fit for the position.

Of course most of the employees dumaan sa stage na yan.

I used to work for an industrial clinic. I remember that the companies that were affiliated with our clinic required everything that you mention including tuwad2.

I think *** requirement yon is to check na wala ka talagang medical problem. Kasi if you have tapos employee ka na nila ksama na sa benefits mo ang medical benefits. Sayang pera nila.
Tapos kung clear ka na, that's the time they accept you.

Siguro maraming doktor at doktorang mahilig mamboso.

Isang good reason din kung bakit ka may check up dahil gusto ng company malaman kung drug addict ka or nag mamarijuana or mayroon kang incurable disease. This can be detected in your blood test and urine test. Siyempre this can affect your job too.

Actually it's one of the most cumbersome jobs we doctors encounter.

remember it's for your own good!

ok lang talaga yung magpa medical but *** im compalining about is that y does it have to be that mabusisi that i have to make "TUWAD" and let the doctor see even the deepest part of my bu*tt..
i just wonder. pwede naman yung blood test and xray na lang.
bat kailangan pang tingnan lahat>??

ay ganon ba ang mga medical exam for job applicants? ganon din ba pag babae? as in titingnan lahat ng private parts mo?

grabe, nakakatakot ata yon.

yes even girls go through these exams. for female applicants, of course female doctors examine them. the only private parts that will be examined is your rear (like they said na tutuwad ka) and breast examination (obviously for breast cancer). it's not nakakatakot, medyo embarassing but it's for your own good and most of the doctors get impatient if you are "maarte" to take your clothes off because for them, there's no malice, like our doctor here (sinister7ex) said, they're just doing they're job accdg to the guidelines set by the DOH*okay*

I went through the same thing when I started my first real job at San Miguel. My start date was even delayed a month because I had to have my wisdom teeth removed.

These medical exams are most often required for big companies that provide medical benefits or insurance. Also, it's not just new hires that go through this. My dad is required to undergo an annual 3-day executive checkup, and he's a VP.

Well, it's the employer's way of protecting their employees from people who might have a medical condition which might be a potential threat to their employees' welfare.

One good example is the Hepatitis B screening, VDRL screening, chest X-ray (for TB) and drug test- some people may be potential carriers (or junkies) and the corporate blokes are not taking any chances.

Nuthin personal- they just want to be sure of their hirees well being and fitness to work :)

well, kidding aside, after 14 years, I just found myself in the same situation early this afternoon. No, I'm not applying for a job. I'm off for a new place! Grabe! kahit babae yung doctor kanina, I just found it inappropriate for her to ask me to take off all just to get my heartbeat and check on my lungs through her stethoscope (tama ba spelling ko, doc? ) To think, pagkalakas-lakas pa ng aircon ng room nya and i don't have anything on! Nanginginig na ako sa ginaw and come to think of it!

Stark naked ako in front of him.

Kasi for "casual employment position" (from what I heard) minsan, may kasabay ka pang iba tapos nakahubad lahat kayo.

Pag nagkasakit kayo, halos wala nang babayaran - considering you have to go through all this.

The Medical Exam is actually one of the "fun" parts of being a doctor. Consider this:
1. we get to tell you to take your clothes. you MUST do so without hesitation. hehehe.
2. we poke stuff into your "holes". This is the un-fun part.
3. you actually thank us after we make you undress and after we poke stuff into your "holes". can you think of any other job which will enable you to do that? i dont think so!

kidding aside, people/prospective employees should view the physical exam as an opportunity to address specific problems they may have. not many people get to see doctors on a regular basis and if you do have a problem don't hesitate to ask your doctor. that's what they're being paid for.
