...how can i lose weight when i don't eat veggies and can't exercise? pls dont ask me why,but i don't eat veggies and can't exercise bec of a back problem...so i can't lose weight by exercising or going on a veggie-diet..

how else can i lose weight? (i'm 50 pounds overweight)?

i've read in magazines/books, that cutting back on food will not always work, or will work for a certain length of time but you will eventually gain back the weight you've lost..

pls. help! i want to lose weight but don't know how. HELP!

well, if it's any consolation, you're not alone!

i also don't eat veggies... feeling ko kasi kumakain ako ng damo :D ... and i can't exercise because of a back problem too!!

but i consulted a doctor on my back and asked if i can't do aerobics forever na because of recurring back pain and he said no naman daw... but my back problem has to be corrected and afterwards, strengthen my back ... so i'm doing physical therapy sessions now... hopefully i can go back to the gym :)

i'm also overweight :(

btw, dyzfunk, what's your back problem, if you don't mind?

ok less or no carbohydrates during dinner. no more red meat like beef and pork, what else, more water to make you feel full and a brisk walk three times a week do it around 30 minutes though. it doesn't mean that since you have that back problem you can no longer exercise. what an excuse, if you are willing you can do it ayayt?

YEAH, SAME HERE...I NEVER LIKED VEGGIES...I STOPPED EATING VEGGIES WHEN I WAS 8 or 9...NOW I CAN'T EAT 'EM ANYMORE. I DUNNO WHAT TO DO. I WANNA LOSE WEIGHT, BUT IT'S SO HARD.

I HAVE 3RD DEGREE SCOLIOSIS AND I'VE UNDERGONE 2 OPERATIONS ALREADY. THAT'S WHY I CAN'T DO PHYSICAL STUFF. I'M ALSO UNDERGOING THERAPY LIKE YOU.

I SOMETIMES WALK AROUND THE VILLAGE (THAT'S ALL I CAN DO ANYWAY) BUT I FEEL LIKE IM NOT GETTING ANYWHERE.

I was 70 lbs overweight and I, too, am not much of a veggie eater. My nutritionist said I might miss out on essential vitamins and minerals. Since she can't make me eat veggies, I instead eat fruits. They are as equally filling and loaded with vitamins. About the exercising, there are other ways to up the metabolism without putting a load on your back, you can try regular mild aerobic activities -- walking, biking and even swimming -- and then gradually increasing the intensity. I've been trying (and struggling) this for for months now and I've lost almost 10 lbs now. You can also try to lift not so heavy weights that does not put so much strain on your back. And it really helps if you consult a health professional for this. They might provide you with some answers.:)

hi...just wanna share...i bought this bio slim...its a tea....
u have to drink it before u go to bed....its kinda cheap...
150 pesos, 30 bags....sobrang laki ng pinayat ko dito..
trust me its effective...

Tlaga but doesnt that make you go to the bathroom 3-5times a day.....?

talaga! how many pounds did you lose? how many tea bags did you consume and for how long? where can i buy bio slim?

can you still drink it even if you haven't eaten the whole day?

but if it just makes you pee, all you're losing is water. maybe this is effective for those who are trying to lose just 5 or less pounds. but for more than 10, i guess it would take more than just slimming tea to lose all that weight.

eat anything you want but NEVER EAT ANYTHING AFTER 6PM..
akala ko nung una, hindi ito totoo, pero nung tinry ko for 1 week, i lost 10 big pounds in just 7 days..

try mo to and pag hindi nag work, you can kick my butt..

P.S..
kain ka ng singkamas, pakwan or melon para mabusog ka..
They contain very low calories and hindi nakakataba..

just want to share something...

i think that bioslim does work. the only problem is, it does makes you go to the bathroom more than once a day, not to pee, but to do the other stuff....you know... i've tried this and in the middle of the day, i feel so uncomfortable coz i'm in my office, that i'm dying to go home to spend some time in the bathroom. but it helped lose weight or prevent gaining weight (coz i'm not really overweight, i'm just scared to gain even a pound). if you're just staying at home, this is good. so for those wo work, do not drink this in the morning!!!:) :) :)

yeah i considered trying that...but another prob is i'm an insomniac...the earliest time i fall asleep is 3am...so i don't think i can do the after 6 thing bec definitely i'll be hungry na by mga 10pm or midnight palang. i think that diet's for early or normal sleepers (anywhere from 9pm to 12mn) not for someone like me whose bedtime can be anywhere from 3am to 7am

although...can't it be the 'after 8' diet???

i bought my bioslim sa mercury. or any drugstore... 100+ siya! 30 bags of tea na un... effective siya kse if i eat meals and i think medyo naguiguilty ako sa kinain ko, i drink it..
... u can add a little juice with it
.... dissolve it with hot water
un nga lang pupupu ka after a while pero okey lang.. best to use during evenings after dinner.... gudluck!

no, di pwede yung after 8 diet.. dapat, after 6 lang..
anyway, insomniac din naman ako pero i don't have a hard time not eating anything after 6 since i am used to it already..

try eating fruits for dinner instead of crisps and chocoloates..
as what i have mentioned, the best alternative is singkamas.. since it can make you feel full yet it doesn't have any calories (virtually, that is!).

just do not each much on night time since our metabolism becomes slower at night..

here's a simple way to lose weight without starving yourself or taking anything.

if you burn more than you consume..you lose weight
if you consume more than you burn...you gain weight
if you consume the same amount as you burn..you maintain weight

if you wanna lose weight (in the form of fat) reduce your overall food intake. try limitng the amount of junk food and fat you eat and watch the fat slowly melt away. If you want further tips, go to the diet and supplements thread and the bodybuilding thread.

Hello!

before you do anything, please consult your physician. the best exercise that i can recommend you is WALKING. not only good for yourself but also for your heart. when it comes to eating habit, please avoid too much sweats, carbo and red meat. eat a lot of fish and fruits - and most importantly, avoid STRESS.

kailangan lang talaga sa ating katawan at isipan ang disiplina para lang makamit mo ang iyong minimithi na mabawasan ang iyong timbang. good luck!

Is bioslim like kankunis?
I tried kankunis before and it really makes you go bathroom...
MY friend nurse told me that teas that make you go bathroom is not good. Coz it has this ingredient in them (I forgot what was the name of that substance) that makes the linings of your intestine thin... and its really bad for you....

Just have a very balanced diet. If you know that your not be using too much calories then lessen your calorie in take...
I think after 6 diet is effective because we use less energy at night. Just eat plenty of fruits if you dont it veggies....
Lessen the intake of carbs especially bread and rice....
ANd most of all think POSITIVE.....it will help a lot to gain confidence.....;)

Introduce activities into your daily life so that they become part of your lifestyle. Take the stairs instead of the elevator if it's just a few flights. If you are in the office, walk to the photocopying machine instead of asking someone to do it for you. Park not so near the entrance of the mall/office/church (of course consdier safety and weather) Take a short walk after dinner around your village (if it is safe to do so). There are a lot more you can do that should not change drastically what you are doing now. When you start losing weight, check with your doctor and see if you can take up a sport or join a gym

Same with diet, reduce and substitute. And do it gradually so you don't feel you are depriving yourself. If you can't eat veggies, try fruits. Water instead of softdrink. Mustard instead of mayo. Tomato sauce or olive oil instead of heavy cream on pasta. Remove skin from chicken. Blot pizza oil before eating. Broiled insted of fried. Eat plenty of small meals during the day rather than bingeing at one time. Don't eat food while watching TV. Don't eat food out of their original container.

Also remember, you didn't gain the 50 pounds in two months. So, don't expect to lose them as quickly. Be patient, and if you incorporate these changes in your lifestyle, you will not notice you are dieting or exercising at all, and you'll be pleasantly surprised later on when you find that your trousers has become loose.

i bought one kasi in a certain chinese stall sa SM. 10 bags lang sya worth P80. mejo mahal compared sa sinabi above na P150 30 bags.
im just wondering baka iba *** nabili ko.:rolleyes:
