Ay! Tsaka Bagets (1 lang di ko type yung 2) and Ninja Kids ("you've got the power")... and yung Jolina-Marvin na oks sana yung plot tapos lumabas ang Dawson's so kitang-kita na kinopya lang pala nila sa Dsawson's yung plot... ano yung title nun? Ok siya... hahaha

have any of you watched "fast times at ridgemont high"? a really great high school movie, it starred many actors who became big later on -- sean penn, phoebe cates and jennifer jason leigh. sean penn plays this great character, a stoner/surfer dude called jeff spicoli. a classic! oh, and there's a famous scene where phoebe cates goes topless.

i also love the john hughes movies, especially "sixteen candles." "the breakfast club" and "some kind of wonderful" are must-sees. as for "pretty in pink"... i feel for ducky, doesn't everybody?

richard linklater's "dazed and confused." some of the actors in it (before they were famous): matthew mcconnaughey, liv tyler, renee zellwegger, and lots i can't remember right now.

another great teen flick: "clueless" this was directed by amy heckerling, who also directed "fast times..." so long ago. love this movie!

and there's the movie "heathers," remember that one? starred winona ryder and christian slater(?). really funny black comedy.

STIFFLER'S MOM!!! PIE HUMPING!!! One thing I like about the series of this movie, there's hardy anything that's cute (who needs it anyway). Heck, even the Sherminator got laid. :glee:

2. Revenge of the Nerds - Funniest teen flick I ever watched.
3. Some Kind of Wonderful - Cool music, with characters you can truly relate to.
4. The Outsiders - First film with the Brat Pack. See Tom Cruise before he became a big star.
5. The Karate Kid - One of the most influencial teen movies coming from the 80s. Enrollment for martial arts lessons skyrocketed because of this movie.
6. Zapped - The only hit movie of Scott Baio. Those classic songs "Got to Believe in Magic" & "King and Queen of Hearts" were from this movie.

Local

1. Bagets - The teen movie where others tried to emulate. JC Bonnin, Aga Muhlach, William Martinez, Herbert Bautista and Raymund Lauchengco broke new ground in local movies. One of the first big hits for Viva Films without Sharon Cuneta.
2. Campus Beat - Second movie of Aga Muhlach after Bagets. It was sooooo baduy I loved it! Watch the final scene where they all danced "It's Like an Earthquake"
3. Shake, Rattle & Roll - Before all those teen horror Hollywood flicks, we were already doing it. Fresh concepts with campy special effects. Scarry in a funny kind of way.......labo no?
