GLobalstride.. new management na daw. nanliligaw ***** sa mga agents nila. ang dame na kasi ang nagresign 50% ng employees tapos ***** pinapabalik pa nila, may mga incentive scheme pang nalalaman pag may na-refer, di ko man lang nakuha *** sakin.
okay sha training ground sa call center. madali lang pumasa sa interview and exam.

i got a job offer from this company, training supervisor, and yes, i think they just had a reorganization, thus a new set of management.

i'm still thinking about the offer, looks promising naman:)

ok talaga ** sa global... speech training palang although no pay free meal lang and coffee enjoy nako... cool mga trainers **, ck he's really good.. almost three months pa lang me,, i really want to stay here kaya lang medyo mahirap... dami ko ksi naririnig bad things in our team hindi ko na nga pinapansin... sa tl,, sa highest pointer... sa mga k-team mates everyday may issue.. pero pag magkakasama msaya ****.. kaya nga im so confused kung sino b talaga sa kanila telling the real thing... but i guess its too early to say..** na nga lang me nag confide sa forum ksi yoko talaga mkisali though i've heard may naiinis daw saken...haaayy... how sad ksi ok naman sya kasama and yoko ng may galit or naiinis sakin,, hnd comfortable sa floor... PERO OK TALAGA ** SA GLOBAL!!! environment, hr, management, even mga big boss. they respect our weekend pa kaya gusto ko tlaga **... sana pag pasok ko maya ok na.... :bashful: *okay*

:) sa mga 1st time sa call center ok **,, kasi aside from maganda training eh its really a great company to start with,,, parang family... feet on the ground pa most of the agents as well as mga TL.. kaya me despite all the negative things i've heard... gusto ko pa rin **...lahat naman ng place or office may rumor.... :rolleyes: may 4 core value pa!!! you will know it pag nsa global na ***....

Is this company strictly engage with outbound sales only?

not really. but 90% are from outbound.
but like ryt now e-telecare pulled out 60 agents from the company to help them with inbound til january lang.
kaso the problem is lyk me, ayoko ng lumipat sa etel kahit 1 month lang or temporary lang. di bale sana kung sa global pa rin kami magrereport.

madali lang dito!! interview pati exam. just be confident.
campaign/account namen 90% publishing. almost a year nako dito and sobrang dali lang ng ginagawa. sobrang bait pa ng mga tl's, supervisor pati management.
saturday application, not sure pero lam ko *** kasi rest day ng HR.

more on publishing, and mga 1 account lang sales dito, sa 500 agents mga 10 agents lang ang nasa sales. may tech support din kaso mga *** pang 20 na agents dun. more on publishing lang ****, magazines. kaso kelangan ng quota.
basta madali lang dito. we're located sa ibm bldg in eastwood city libis.

Hi! Newbie here. Balak ko sana mag-apply ng call center, preferably outbound. I was browsing Globalstride's website at nagandahan ako sa facilities. They look okay naman, gusto ko lang sana Filipino-owned yung call center. Masama kasi experience ko sa isang call center na American ang may-ari. Would anyone happen to know kung sino may-ari ng Globalstride? I heard Ayala-owned daw sila, pero konti lang hawak ng Ayala. If the information's confidential, pm me na lang. Thanks!!!

well actually filipino po may ari ng globalstride, before american but nagpalit ng management so since feb of last year filipino na naging may ari, and hindi ayala may ari ng global, we have an inbound account na ayala reality ang account so dun lang pumapasok *** ayala. okay lang facilities naman, bka pinaganda lang sa website namen at mashado ka na amazed, well actually more than a year nako sa company kahit P12 lang sweldo though may bigger offer sa iba, asa global pako kasi mga tao dito sobrang saya! para kalang nag lalaro wyl working, dipa mahirap *** accounts. example ng petix callcenter. hehe

yes they do accept college students that are still in school.. like me before.

my answer to your third question - we have two shifts on traiining but with regards to regular working shift. thae graveyard shift lang ang pwede.

dati na akong nag-work sa epldt at nag-back-out na ako from havenlink sa ortigas for training last wednesday dahil service ako sa church. and i'm now planning to apply sa globalstride maybe after holy week. aside P12k *** salary, may mga allowances pa ba na idadagdag at may mga incentives?

I tried applying here and the HR told me that they can ony offer
10,000 - 12,000!!! NGee!!!!!! I have 2 years call center experience tapos ganun lang!!!

Well p_jasmine, this call center is paying just enough kasi hindi naman ganon ka-bigtime ang mga clients nila. if you really want a high paying call center, go for multinationals like convergys, teletech, dell, etc. I stayed with globalstride for three years, i enjoyed it. But because I wanted a higher salary, i explored opportunities outside and became successful naman. I'd say this call center is a good training ground. A lot of us old employees of this company are mostly successful in our new endeavours. So for those newbies who wanted to try the call center industry, this one is a good place to start.

Is it true that globalstride is now alorica? I scanned through the newspaper the 1st Sunday of January and found alorica's advertisement, with globalstride's address at IBM Plaza indicated as one of it's center. Hmmm....

global stride has survey/publishing accounts. When it's off season, production floor goes off operation which means no work for the people. sometimes the whole month, you'll only get to work for one shift. No work, no pay.
the good thing though is, the publishing accounts are relatively easy. You just have to read the script in front of you and make sure you complete the survey.

to eegelsI- before globalstride used to leased 3 floors at IBM Plaza, now its down to just 1 floor which would be the 25th floor. Alorica took place of the 29th floor. =)

I do hope that the company wakes up from it's deep sleep and would come to realize that they need to step up to be competitive and stay in the call center industry. Sayang naman kung lalamunin lang sila ng malalaking centers without putting up a fight.

yup i do hope too, i already resigned just last year, but i worked here in Globalstride for 1 year and 6 mos. though low compensation, but what i really admire about the company is it's culture, sobrang saya dito ng mga tao it's like not working at all. =)

hi guys! i'm a former globalstride employee and i must agree to some people who testified that it is indeed fun to work there however mababa nga ang sweldo that's why i left but it was actually one of the best call centers that i've experienced working with so far... question lang.....

Globalstride is formerly webserveasia right? then naging globalstride nga, at ngayon ipcco na kamo sila? kung ipcco na sila ngayon, does that mean wala na yung records ng former employees nila sa HR? confused lang..... please help!!! Thanks!!!

Mostly outbound sales pero me inbound. Sa IBM Building Libis QC at Unionbank building Meralco Ave Pasig sila.

BPO Teleservices na name nila.
