hindi naman ganun ka bad sa global..mejo...kuripot lang..hahaha..and they speak of internal hiring..pero mabagal na ang pag akyat mo sa ladder..sa dami ba naman ng nagaapply diba? and most of their accounts are outbound..e meron ng do not call list sa states e..so mejo malamang bababa yun..hanap ka na lang ng inbound na call center...ang maganda lang sa global may foosball table..

well...the good thing about global though..hindi sila kasing strict ng ibang call centers..we dont have to be in business attire when we work, hindi sila ganon ka strict na you have to meet quota everytime, open door policy, mabait karamihan ng management, and pati mga nagwowork don in general. money isn't everything pero kung muka kang pera, wag ka dito. :D

ok naman. mabait naman management ng global, but there are some things that i dont like about the company. as for the inbound account, okey naman. im not part of it pero from what i observed, okay naman sila. it's calls ata mostly, i am not really sure kung email and chat din sila.

what i like about the company is the comfortable atmosphere, although right now mejo may tension na or nagiging strict na, okay na din naman so far.

just try to apply melian and see for yourself diba. ;)

yes we have net access..uhm..yung tv ewan ko na san napunta. wala naman kasing nanonood don. ako natapos ko yung smallville season 1 and 2 sa pc ko e. napanood ko na din yung season 3 episode 1. sshhh...lolz...yung four horsemen e yung bagong management.. mejo nagiging strict e..sabi nga nila "your disneyland is closed"..lolz...pero wala yun..deadma..you can come personally sa ibm..interview muna..then exam..mabilis lang. see you all here!

in my opinion globalstride is the best call center to be. been here for more than 2 yrs already. the basic pay is good, plus the 20% night diff and commish (if ur doing outbound calls). aside from the 13th month pay, there's 14th month pay (not all company provides this), and during my 1st year, there's performance bonus.

the environment is friendly. everybody seemed to be a foosball addict. ur not a global strider if u don't play this game! i intend to stay here for as long as i'm moving up. of course it's not easy.

as for that 4 horsemen, i welcome their presence. the company needs to change direction to keep moving. the place has been everybody's comfort zone, that's why we don't like their presence. but i think they are badly needed to shake and shape things up.

if ever binili nga, just wondering why webservasia was bought...

not to play devil's advocate... pero 13th & 14th month? maraming companies nago-offer niyan... I know a bank that offers even up to 16th month pay... leaves like VL, SL, CL, offered ng rin ng most companies, while paternity and maternity are required by the labor code... can't see the reason why they make such a big deal out of leaves required by the law...

If really the pay is good, why can't they just even give a range? do their agents go beyond say 20k basic compensation? if that's the case mataas talaga...

but really as the other posters have mentioned, why can't anyone even just give a range? all they mention is good working environment... tell that to me when you have a good working environment then earn 15k and you have a family to support and children to send to school... if you still think it will be a good decision to stay with this scenario...

again, am not playing devil's advocate... just a lot of questions that needs to be answered to suffice their claim that it is really great to work at globalstride...

yes i know na the leaves are mandated by law, and so is the 13th month pay. pero tinanong diba? so sinagot ko lang. and the reason why i don't wanna mention the salary is diba dapat naman talga hindi sinasabi yun? and hindi binili ang globalstride. nagpalit lang ng pangalan. I have a grandmother and a sister to support, a house to pay including bills and stuff and i am surviving here. yung sister ko nga pala 3rd year hs na, malapit na magcollege. masaya ko dito and i don't see myself moving anytime soon. unless siguro tipong 30k pataas na offer saken. marami dito sa amin ang bread winners. ang income mo dito is limited only by your drive. kung tamad ka, sorry ka.

globalstride is formerly webservasia. its the same company different name lang. the poster was just asking kung ano mga nakukuha namin na benefits and we just mentioned them. so what kung mandated by the law, it is still included sa benefits namin so nilagay namin. we are talking about call centers here. not banks and other establishments. sa amin may 14th month pay. bnefit namin yun. of course kung icocompare natin sa ibang companies and mga call centers eh magkaiba mga yan. they just ask us what we are getting sa company, and we are just telling them what we get. range, maliit lang, pero yung income mo hindi limitado.

i used to be with publishing, then i became a part of the sales team... then i was promoted... secret na lang kung saan :)

for the other striders, sorry if i have to answer the other's questions... starting salary is 10k. but that's exclusive of the 20% night diff and free meal. if you're working on outbound calls, madadagdagan pa yan, depending on your ability to meet and exceed quota.

the hiring process is quite fast. when i applied, i took the exam in the morning. then four of us were asked to stay for interviews while the rest were asked to return after lunch. around 2pm, contract signing na. =)

probably not just "not being late" is considered pero siguro how easily you've picked up yung daily routine nila sa work, and apply it to your work. sabi nung nagorient samen after ng examinations, minimum wage if entry level ka and more if you have past call center experiences + 20% night differential + commissions if you exceed your quota.

im also waiting for the results come tuesday, im hoping for positive results coz i really liked the atmosphere in GS, its homey ^^

training na po raw ako by after holy week so ganun... im keeping my options free pa .. kaya im applying parin sa ibang companies...

1. ang layo kasi ng eastwood (pero wala naman problema) pero kung makahanap naman ako na mas malapit gaya ng ortigas (okay pa kasi mrt lang ang katapat), makati (mas lalo na okay)

2. about the training, im still in a dilemma? kasi kinukuha na ako ng teleperformance na magtraining pero april pa siguro kasabay ng globalstride... pero yung training nga kasi.. i dunno kung ano ang mas madali diba... yung ano ang madaling makapsok sa emplyment...

what ya think? kung global stride, madali kaya? or sa teleperformance?

ive been to teleperformance den pero nde ko na tinuloy magapply, kse andami people and i still have the examinations in the afternoon kaya di ko na tinuloy, also, i dont like the environment, it seems like super stiff yung people, plus.. super lamig pa, i was in there for just a few minutes and i felt like i was already freezing when i got out.

for me mas madali puntahan *** globalstride kse i dont have to walk that far, as compared to teleperformance na i have to walk from mrt ortigas station all the way to it. lalake binti ko grabe.

i have pending applications with ambergris solutions den but if ok naman sa gs applications ko, ill go for gs

for tamizZz and TT BOY, good luck sa inyo sa training... honestly, it's not that difficult to pass the training basta you're willing to learn and apply it immediately while there.

Some don't pass for certain reasons: 1) lates or absences (dapat naman magpakitang gilas during training, right?), 2) accent problem (although mejo maluwag pag trainable naman), 3) if you can't handle yourself well during telesales, and 4) the results of your stats during incubation.

During the telesales, you'll have simulation. I heard one didn't pass bec he can't carry the conversation. Introduction pa lang, nara-rattle na and bina-baba na ang phone. During the incubation, you'll be asked to do live calls for 2 weeks. Your performance will be rated and that's the deciding factor if you'll be deployed or not. If you don't make it, you may be asked for re-training or something like that.

Globalstride is one cool call center. Yeah, its not one of the heavy hitters in the industry, but Global knows how to have a fun working environment. Pay is not as high as the others when i started, but its a bit higher now. Also, petix ka lang dito. You still have to hit you quota, but you dont have to give your liver to reach it. Saya dito. Normally the training should start after a week upon receiving the news that you have passed the exam and interview, but there are special cases when the number of trainees are not sufficient enough to start training so what they do is wait for several days until the remaining slot for training is taken. Waiting list? I am not sure about this, but may be this is the reason why they haven't start training yet because they haven't meet the number of trainees for your batch. I suggest you call/talk to the HR officer that interviewed you so that you'll have an idea on when the training for your batch will start

hi! im new here... nag-apply nako sa globalstride, i was interviewed by sir raineer and luckly i passed the interview together with my other girlfriends, nag-exam na *** last thursday, hope we passed the exams... the good thing is click *** ng mga batchmate ko sa exams bale walo kami sa morning sked as in close kami agad kaya nga we all pray na sana pumasa kaming lahat and sana kami na din amg magkakabatch........ pepzz... pray for our batch!!!!

kung pumasa ka sa mga tests, interviews.. ang hihintaying mo nalang talaga yung job offer or the sched of the training.. ang problema kasi sobrang tagal silang tumawag.. it took months for their call kahit every week kang mag update/followup wala silang sasabihin.. ako natanggap na ako sa ibang company and undergoing training ng tumawag sila.... di ko tinanngap yung offer becoz tanggap na ako and sabi nila walang bayad yung training siguro food lang pero.. ang hirap kasi from pque to libis lalakbayin mo everyday without any pay... kaya di ko tinnaanngap.

hi tt boy. yeah nagbackread nga ako dito and nabasa ko ang tagal nyo ma-sched for training kaya iniisip ko baka umabot din ng 1 month or even beyond that pa yung wait. eh scheduled na rin ako for training this monday ( bukas) sa ibang company. aand yun nga walang salary or kahit man lang transpo allowance diba? i might still try it out pag makakaalis ako sa training in this other company. depende na rin talaga.

Matagal talaga magsched ng training lalo na kung hindi pa filled yung mga seats, I guess it would really take a month or so... since your still waiting for globalstrides call better look for other companies my be mas mabilis ang training/hiring nila dun sayang naman ang opportunities di ba? but if your not really not in a hurry wait ka lang sa call ng global.

jst got pregnant *** ko nagawang iwan ang company na to.

they give a low starting pay, they too got politics, their building is housed on the 29th/25th floors and it takes forever to get down...but overall, its a good company...

easy, laid back job (soft selling ***), cool TLs, capable & non biased trainers, the president usually takes the batch (of trainees) out to dinner. im one of the priveleged to have that dinner (after an hour of pep talk---"pep" pa ba matatwag un??hehehehe...). [minsan kc out of d country sya eh..]

we had free meals (everyone who works there has meals..)...
