Hello ppl, first of all just wanna say that these are just my opinions.
About a cybercafe obviously the most important thing is the location. There's this few months old cybercafe that I pass by going home. The place looks good, has that classy look, and they even have flat panel monitors. However it looks kinda out of place. Another thing is I don't think cybercafes are as profitable as they used to be. There are a lot of cheap pre paid internet cards nowadays that people prefer to buy instead of going to a shop.
At kung network gaming mas importante ang location, coz network gaming shops are everywhere nowadays. If you build one where you have a lot of competition, try doing something different. Example, sa U.M. ang dami nang network shops kaya ang ginawa nung isang bagong shop naglagay sila ng mga sofa sa place nila para kapag maraming nakapila pwede sila tumambay dun. In short be creative.
Kung videogames naman, kwento ng friend ko ang ginawa ng pinsan nya nagtayo ng arcade dito sa metro manila at isa pa sa province. Kaya pag kumuha sya ng bagong arcade machines, linalagay nya sa province yung mga luma.
Personally, I don't have that much money at the moment to do any of those so I go into businesses that require less capital. Another is I joined a networking company. But if you think this is just another MLM thing wherein you need to get a lot of people to earn a decent amount of money, you're wrong. Not all networking companies use MLM so you shouldn't simply associate MLM with networking. So to anybody whose interested just email me.
Hope this helps:)

junben_c: 5 percent guarented?....... no offesense but what kind of investment has no risk? hm.... interesting.... please explain futher.:)
geekhead : I really am not still into business, so I also lack the experience. But base on what I see and hear network gaming this days are not as good as it used to be, so as wand3r3r mention innovation is really a must. Anyway, the only suggestion i can make is to find whatever you really like to do and start making a business out of it. I know most (with my limited knowledge ;) ) of those who start a cafe business are either avid game player or has a brief background on computers, so... if I were you I will build a business in where I would enjoy myself...:D I really enjoy meeting owners of cafe who often show joy in there work, makes the place (for me) more coze... Anyway, Just making a suggestion.:) Oh yeah, I also want to add that wan3r3r is also right about networkgaming, location is also really a main concern if you plan on starting with this type of business.
