don't expect much... walang back pay ang sykes... last/final pay lang... which is computed as
lastpay = unpaid work days + tax refund + SL/VL conversion - deductions

so basically, last sweldo mo lang yun tapos tax refund (kung meron) at SL/VL conversion...

Well, you do have a point. I guess its a matter of what makes you happy at work. I know of people kasi who left, thinking that they were better off but ended up regretting. Maybe circumstances may be different for you. Either way, I wish you luck on your plans. Its enlightening to know that at least you have a plan in mind all along... :lol:

pero talagang importante din yung maging contented ka sa natatangap mong basic salary... kasi iyon ang matatanggap mo in monthly basis. hidni mo naman kasi pwede asahan yung 10-20% increase kasi after regularization pa iyon at kung mababa basic mo, konti lang din impact nung increase after six months.

Let's give this "W2 guy" as an example... he's been with an account in Sykes for years and part of the 1st two waves... but until now, he is still an agent... why? simply because he thinks like an agent who just rants, narrow minded with a distinct attitude that nobody would even bother working with him... he criticizes external hires without even finding out how wellt hey can perform...

I talked to our HR and asked for my PhilHealth ID.
Surprisingly, HR told me that I am not enrolled!
For almost 2 years of my stay, I was being deducted monthly for Philhealth contributions and now they're telling that I am not enrolled?

u get ur HMO kapag magstart ka na sa training...health bonus, after confirmation, same with SL and rice allowance...VL is after 1 year...hazard pay is very helpful lalo na dun sa mga area 5 na katulad ko...220/day...so around 4.8k/month ang haz pay ko...which is never given by other companies...

I applied last March, signed my contract April 17 & my training will start May 28 but unfortunately the HR called me saying that i have to wait till June 25 for my training under financial account. Because the account i am considering is freeze hiring till june. Wow grabe its been months of waiting to start, ganun ba talaga dito sa Sykes.....please share naman fellow sykers if you have this situation before........

One more thing, HR called me to conduct another interview it is a panel interview for another account. And would you believe it only last for 5 minutes & the interviewer let me choose if i want to take calls or a back office job. I choose the back office job......& they assure me to call me after a couple of days BUT.......its been 2 weeks no call.........I am really dying to wait..

I REALLY LOVE TO BE PART OF SYKES........i turn down other offers just to be with SYKES....

bongga naman ng mga events s sykes! anywayz ganun b talaga katagal kc june 19 ako nagwalkin sa burgundy for initial interview then kinabukasan exam then napasa ko ito then sabi sa akin ng proctor within a week expect for a call, (di ko alam kung final interview sa phone meron ba nun sa sykes? final interview s phone?) and then ayon waiting in vain ako then alang tumawag then after almost 3 weeks, may tuawag daw mga 3 times na daw at may 'asia' daw ang pangalan. then sabi ko baka sykes asia. then kinabukasan 8 am tumawag ito for final interview, tinanong ako kung interesado pa raw ako then sabi ko yes kaya nandun me s sunnymede ang interview ko then ayon OK naman ang feeling ko na maayos iyon then sabi w8t for a call within a day (july 5 yon) then w8t naman ako then ala then the next day july 6 or khapon tumawag ako then sbi ng nakausap ko tatawagan daw ako. pero bakit antagal??? hehe worried ako kc ginive-up ko ang CONVERGYS noong JULY 5 then kc kinoktak n nila ako akala ko kc September pa ang training sabay july na pala then sang sbi ko "HIRED" na me then tinanng kung anong company sabi ko SYKES hehe although hirap salita ng tapos kc first choice ko talaga ang sykes kaya ko nagawa ang bagay na iyon. hehe at prior to that nabanggit ko rin sa final interview na may hinihintay din akong result kc yung july 4 my interview me sa ibmdaksh, pero must feel ko ang sykes kaya igigive-up ko rin ang ibm daksh for sykes and meron din akong SIEMENS sa august, w8t p me ng call, pero sana tumawag n ang SYKES para may 'security' n ako! if ever na tumwag ang siemens then give-up ko rin ito for SYKES kaya sana pakibilisan. (joke joke) kc baka kung sakaling d ako pasa sa final interview hala akoy malulungkot..... :(

^ Ganuun talaga sa Sykes... Tatak Sykes yon... matagal sila magsabi kong tanggap ka o hindi...Marami kayong pinagpipilian.

There were times lang nga one day processing lang... and our batch noon.. ganuun ang nangyari... Exam ngayong umaga , bago mag 6pm they will inform you na job offer na bukas !

Usually naman maliit lang ang basic ( meaning di ganuun ka competitive) kaya lang malaki naman ang take home pay mo dahil sa hazzard pay, nolates/absences incentive, commision.... etc..

Goodluck na lang sa mga nagaaply !

depende pa rin, minsan TL muna, then Account Manager, tapos minsan client. If hindi sya pumasa, minsan inendorse sya sa ibang account so batch of interviews na naman yun. sa case ko, yung client nagpunta pa dito from US for the final interview. Wala pa syang 24 hrs sa Manila then alis agad....

First post ko dito sa Sykes thread. I'm a senior TSE for Emerson, OSMA based.

anybody form HR? Its been two weeks after my final interview, its a non-agent post and I've been trying to contact the HR personnel that i was assigned to but never got lucky getting to her.Does it really take that long to decide whether someone is in or not? Running on my third week of waiting and If things don't work out good with Sykes i wish i would know soon so i can go for other options.Pero hopefully I get the job which honestly Im loosing hope na........

^i can relate to you since it's more than 2 weeks after my final interview... i was supposed to know the result within THAT day (final interview) but i receive no call... i called them up the next day for the follow up but they told me just to wait for their call... so i'm planning to call tomorrow to see if they can still remember me... anyway if you feel that you did good in the final interview like me, then you shouldn't lose your hope :) ... be always positive...

may hazard pay if your shift falls between 10pm-6am

10pm-7am shift yan. and yeah may hazard pay yan. the rule is if youre shift start or end within 10pm-6am. kaya kahit 6am start ng shift mo may hazard pay pa rin. ang losers sched is 9:30pm to 6:30 am. night diff lang na ten percent.

hazard pay depends on your site and your location sa bahay. may chart kung anong area ka. area 1 = 100 pesos. 2= 125, 3=150, 4=175 and area five kadalasan malalayo cavite or bulacan is 220 per shift na qualified ka sa hazard pay
