hey guys. i was referred by my friend and i took the test today at 10am. i passed the test and asked me to come back at 3pm for the interview. i think the interview went well but the interviewer (eden) said she thinks i'm not fit for that account (financial). she said she would endorse me to other accounts and just wait for their call. im just wondering if they would really endorse me and how long do i really have to wait? thanks:)

if you will be hired as a probationary employee, you'll get 12k+ basic salary, regardless if you have a previous call center experience.. i just made it 12k+ because i couldn't remember the exact figure.. you'll get, i think, 750 for meal allowance.. 10% night diff.. plus you'll get a hazard pay (contractual employees are not entitled to this one).. your hazard pay will depend on your address of record.. 220 is the highest and 100 or 110 is the lowest.. allowances and hazard pay are non-taxable..

i asked the receptionist there about my application. alam mo sinabi ?

sabi ko its been 2 weeks and they haven't called me for the final interview.

but to think of it, its very impossible for me that i failed the exam at that time coz i almost know all the answers.

if you are cisco fanatic dapat dyan at least ccnp or ccie
tapos ako ng cisco ccna academy pag tapos mo ng ccna para ka *** pumasa ng board exam for doctor na wala kang especialty even if you pass ccnp..may mga branches yan ng especialty like bscm and the remaining 3.kaya naghehesitate ako mag apply kc ccna requirement. baka d ko kayanin.

Madali lang ang exam sa Sykes- basic English and Math. Ang mahirap yung interview...kasi subjective....kung di ka type nang mag iinterview baka matagalan ka makakuha ng slots o kaya di ka na tatawagn pang muli.... apply after 6 months.....heeeeee

CISCO account ang brother ko sa makati ang office nila. ang masasabi ko lang eh demanding sya kasi every weekend nagaaral pa sya ng lessons to prepare for the coming week. CISCO certified din ang bro ko and bidding his time para makalipat sa verizon (5 yrs kasi ang nirerequire sa kanya na experience para dun sa six figures na salary.)

The cisco account is not your typical call center type of work...you are basically a remote network engineer and don't expect that you will be spoon fed during training, that's why we require at least a CCNA (the interview is also hard...hardcore networking)...but it doesn't end there, you have be constantly learning and keep on doing research by yourself to solve network cases. If you are an aspiring network engineer with the enthusiasm to learn as much as he could...I suggest para kayo dito sa account na to

sa CSR yan ang basic pay, 10% night diff is across the board as long as you shift falls between 10PM to 6AM, Hazard pay, is per area basis, depende kung saan ka kumuha ng cedula at anong address ang declare mo during your application

the best na trainers sa product training si z & b. enjoy ang training. pati yung trainers sa comm skills the best. tapos yung tl ko astig. sobrang helpful and supportive. i would have stayed if not because of the problem that i had with my studies. good luck sa account na to.

mga sykesters na naghahanap ng promotion dyan, ingat lang kayo sa mga TL nyo kasi kapag naghahanap na kayo ng promotion within sykes, kahit pa maganda metrics, stats and educational backround nyo, pag ayaw kayo bitiwan ng TL nyo, walang magagawa HR. Final say sa TL.

Eto ang siste, madami na nag sasabi from veteran agents, HR, to management na scraping the bottom of the barrel na ang hiring ngayon, meaning hindi na ganun kaganda ang quality ng agents ngayon (kung fresh grad malamang aanga anga pa, kung vet naman malamang may sungay na)

So, kelangan din ng TL ang magaling na agents para yung stats nya gumanda din, so ergo, he cant afford to lose tenured, veteran agents dahil sya madadali if he's stuck with the newbies and rookies, besides dagdag effort pa on his part na kelangan na naman nya mag coach ng mga baguhan.

Sa sykes HR pede ba ma promote without the need for endorsement ng TL kung overall good record ka naman sa company and client?

Otherwise lilipat ng lang tong utol ko sa Convergys. May job offer na eh. Nanghihinayang lang kami sa 3 taon sa Sykes kung may paraan ma promote na hindi dependent sa TL. Help HR!

actually, oct. 1 ang JO namin and i have no plans on signing it so I will stay with sykes. sabi sakin, HR would give us 2 chances (2 accounts) so parang HR ang maghahanap ng account para samin, pag di ka nakapasa, well tanggal ka na. maganda sana yung account namin, dami corporate events etc., kaso dami pa nila dapat ayusin sa payroll nila and management, magulo pa.. saka dec. na, sayang ang 13th month at converion namin, hehe.. peace!

Newbie here (hello! ^^) Tanong ko lang sana kung ano comments nyo about what happened to my application to OSMA last Aug30:

I walked-in to osma at 9am, initial interview.. then the three part exam. After few minutes she told us we all passed. While she was giving us the name and time of our interviewer for the next round the examiner gave me an additional test since i was applying for a TSR position. Pinabalik kami after lunch for the next interview and i had another 2 more interviews after that. During the last interview, Ms. Lizette (my last interviewer) told me i have to go thru language training but the thing is they still dont have the schedule for the next batch (sabi nya kakatapos lang daw ng last batch that day). And if I fail it e hindi daw ako tatangapin ng company. She told me to keep my lines open at tatawagan na lang daw ako for the sched nung language training. And she told me to fill up a form for my reference persons.

Its been almost a month since my application and i still havent heard anything from them. Wala pa din daw tumatawag sa mga reference ko pero yung rinefer ko tinawagan na nila. Am i to wait still for their call o should i apply sa iba na lang? Hope you guys can enlighten me. Thanks in advance ^^

hi sa mga taga tech support professionals.. nag apply kasi ako dun sa phil trade center thursday oct 2 kasi may job expo sila dun and nag initial nadin ako.. im currently taking up cisco module 2 sa lasal.. so far module 1 palang kabisado ko kasi un palang natapos ko.. and sa monday na exam at tect interview ko.. so im just wondering kung sapat naba knowledge ko sa module 1 para sa exam and interview? or should i just cancel my applciation for now? kasi nairinig ko e mga tanung is "Troubleshooting, software upgrades, setup, configurations, etc. specifically on Cisco’s Security product like Router IOS Firewalls, Pix Firewalls, VPN Concentrators, IDS appliance, ACS ( Access Control Server ) and VMS (VPN/Security Management Solution ) software." e d pa tinuturo samin *** iba dyan.. tsk tsk thanks in advance sa makaka sagot sakin.

depends... if you are going to an AT&T account, troubleshooting there is mostly on layer1 issues, so telco testing, BERT testing etc etc knowledge is helpful... there's also layer2 troubleshooting.. frame relays etc etc... layer 3 issues are being handled by either Tier2 and Tier3 of AT&T

if you are going to a cisco account, they will give you good training and everything you need to know in supporting PIX firewalls, ACS, VMS etc etc...

lahat naman may training but it would help a lot if you have the necessary background...

I applied here, the HR said she cannot endorse me anymore for any technical account as TSR so she told me that she'll endorse me for a CSR position instead... What the hell? Sykes have lots of technical accounts. That ***** is obviously pushing me to their other "in-need of agents" account. Pathetic, but that made me hate Sykes now.

I work at a technical account at KPT and I do interviews. (I won't tell kung anong account).

Particular kami sa attitude ng applicant. Hindi kame maarte magtanong. Yun tipong how do you describe an apple to a blind guy or how do you describe yourself without using an adjective.
That's plain bull.


It's fine if you dont speak English as long we yer brainy enuff to grasp a very technical concept in say, 2 minutes. Pero kung baluktot ka na nga magEnglish tapos wala ka pang utak, I'm sorry.

May rare cases na tumatanggap kame ng applicants na talagang walang alam sa Cisco, networking, bagong technology. We get them because they reflect the attitude of commitment. Wala kang alam ***** but we wait til we teach you stuff.

Not to be biased, but sa account where I'm in, our agents are valued. Of course, may politics pa din, and office chismis. But most of our action plans are geared towards developing the abilities of the technician. Brat nga ang mga ahente namin dito.

I'm speaking of my particular account alone. Alam naman naten na may mejo "mediocre" accounts lang.

My advise to those who plan to apply sa mga technical accounts sa KPT, it's better if you give your resume sa mga kakilala niyo rather than going thru HR.

And to wizrdmage, if the BCT account decides not to get you, pwede ka namin iconsider dito, hehe.

compensation wise, ok ang sykes. you get your basic pay plus transpo and meal allowance. i work at sykes btc makati for 4 years now. medyo tired na sa account kaya gusto ko na sana umalis pero nanghihinayang kasi may annual increase again, tapos free parking pa. pero normally sa mga big call centers you really have to stay long for you to get full benefis and priveleges. you also get full priveleges from medicard.

hi! i had a supposed account interview last last monday as a technical support engineer for the emerson account. binigay sa akin na oras ay 10pm. So nagprepared ako maigi at nag-aral pa nang mabuti, inayos ang susuotin, at pinostponed ang mga gagawin. kaso nung monday na yun ng 10am, i received a call from sykes telling me not to come na nung 10pm (take note, nagprepare ako buong sunday kasi nga monday 10pm ang interview, tapos malalaman kong cancelled 10am same day ko nalaman T_T) Honestly, nabigla talaga ako.. kasi feeling ko nasayang yung preparations and all. Ang sabi po nang tumawag ay nagfailed daw po yung application ko kasi may napili na, ililipat daw po ng division ng emerson ang application ko. at ang masaklap na line na tatawag na lang sila ulit. tanong ko lang sa mga taga sykes: Am I waiting for nothing? oR Should I continue hoping? 3. sorry i have to correct this, the sl/vl credits are given to you at the beginning of the year provided you are a regular employee (sl) and have a tenure of 1 year (vl) at sykes. you earn credits from day 1 of employment, however you can only avail of your sl credits once you get regularized, and your vl credits once you have stayed with the company for a year. the credits are advanced to you at the beginning of the year once tenured ka na.

thanks lh3n for clarifying that. just to add...sykes also has two main events that happens every year, in june there's the sykes annual picnic and the other is the christmas party. and bout the team building,it is done quarterly with a budget of 525 per head. and depending on what account you're in,OM's or AM's offer their own set of incentives for one team alone.oh but wait there's more...1k health bonus is given to those with no lates in other words perfect attendance in a month.....
