you have to be regularized first or at least have already been in the account for 6 months before you can transfer to another account. if you look at the internal adverts, number qualification is for the agent to have spent at least 6 months in current account.

hrs kasi ask common quessies for tsr or csr apps. they always ask the ff:


about yourself(any info not stated in your CV)
how can you see yourself five years from now
how can you describe color red to a blind person
if youre a pet what kind of pet are you and why
etcetcetc

on your last interview-- for sure its an account manager or tl already

they will ask you bout the product. for example, you'll be in a digital camera support, they are goin to ask you if you know how to operate it. etcetcetc. and maybe ask you for some cases like what if an irate caller comes, how will you handle and satisfy their needs? somewhat like that.... hope it helps=)

cellseeker.. it depends.. usually when they interview you for technical support, you may undergo up to 3 interviews. it may take a few days, max 1 week ata before they call you up to tell you you're accepted.

no pattern at all.. some had an interview first before examination.. but in my case i had to take an examination before proceeding to the interview.

ah.. kasi email account yata ako. kaya my typing exam. ano ba feedback nyo pag through email compare sa phone? mas marami bang gagawin? kasi yung iba sabi pag sa phone hindi naman lagi may tumatawag.. e pag sa email kaya? mag sign na ksi ako ng contract.. para makapag compare muna ako before signing..

teka nga pala.. pwede ko ba sabhin na i would need more time to think before i would sign the contract tapos balik na lang ako if ever..
ang problem, may training na kami sa monday. so hindi ko alam kung papayagan nila ako mag isip ng isang araw ksi baka di ako payagan umattend ng training sa monday.. bukas kaya HR pag saturday?

read the contract and ask whens the deadline of the signing of contract-- but just read it. its written on the upper part.

well you have the right to take the contract with you in able for you to study bout the agreement but u have to consider the deadline as well


email as far as i know, may quota for a day un.. like maybe at least 45 emails aday - depends on what account ur into.

honestly according to the survey(naks) nah i asked some peeps from different accounts and try to weigh things ( coz im going to transfer to new account(well im still searchin)).


if you want more challenges, better take voice accounts(phone handling), coz you have the chance to deal with different moods and peeps. but email supportt medyo paeasy easy lang not unless youre into busy account- as in non to sawa ka sa email. in our case we are supporting email as well as phone(but we are receiving more mails than calls) kaya everytime a call will comes in sobrang nagugulat pa kami. but now.. we're a little bit use to it na.

as a stepping stone try it.. if di mo feel *** account pwede ka naman lumipat sa other accounts after 6 mos eh.

Na hire kami dati para sa MSN IA TS Email pero magkakaron kami ng bagong account (MSN Music Downloads) and kasama kami ni Sweet Mafia sa mga napili para mag support dun. Chat support sya. Pero under pa rin sya ng TS Email management kaya dun pa rin kami. And pag ala ata kaming queue, mag email pa rin kami for TS.

am not sure if one can specifically apply for the e-mail support position. basta, naalala ko lang when i was interviewed that i told them i was comfortable writing e-mails rather than talking.

phone support people have voice allowance. 1k ata yun kaya mataas ang salary nila.

it's not a stressful job. compared to my old account here in sykes, macromedia is one big party place.

kahit cs ka lang, you get perks like trainings with the macromedia university and tech support training.

favoritism? hmmmm... with the previous account manager, i would say yes. but with the current one now, wala naman akong nakikita.

oh.... yes, the entry level salary is the highest one among all accounts :)

I used to be a TL/Trainer for Sykes. I transferred already to TeleTech. Masaya maging TL kaya lang wala ng perks and mas maraming trabaho. But aim for it, we all deserve to grow.

I'm quite dissapointed with Syke's, I was supposed to have an Interview/Exam at their Ortigas office at 1 San Miguel, I arrived there at 9:55, my appointment was at 10AM, then when I logged in the receptionist told me that the person that was going to interview me called in sick, they will entertain me daw at 1pm for the test daw..They told me to wait nalang daw...

parang simpleng simple lang sa receptionist na sabihin sa akin na "please come back at 1 o' clock" I find it unprofessional on their part so I just walked out nalang....

6 months probationary status ka. Pag lampas mo nun, you can get the SLs...yung mga VLs pag one year ka na.

Those who were employed by Sykes before 2001 (I think) are entitled to a 'separation pay' equivalent to a month's salary for every year of with Sykes. Plus of course your SL/VL conversion, prorated 13th month and tax refund

you're correct about dun sa kailangan mo malaman about Dial-up Connection. Pero these are only how-to's. most customers kasi are complaining about slow connection or problems connecting to the Internet, dito na papasok ang troubleshooting.

hindi lang internet connection ang support ng MSN IA-TS, pati yung MSN software kasama sa support. yung MSN software e usually kasama sa internet subscription nila. eto yung browser, e-mail client etc in one software. kaya medyo madugo rin ang support.

out of curiosity, around how much does an agent sa macromedia account earn? pm me na lang. i was told kasi na sila ang pinakamataas salary and i'm wondering kung ano yung pinakamataas na yun. microsoft agents sa ibang call centers kasi 18k so it must be around 20k?! thanks.

I'm with Macromedia. Been there for 2yrs (but just filed for resignation today, effective end of the year). I've been told that we have the highest basic salary in Sykes. I'm not sure if that's still the case though.

Customer Service:
Basic pay 15K + allowance + hazard pay + night diff..etc

Technical Support:
Basic Pay 25K + allowance + hazard pay + night diff..etc

(2yrs ago pa to. I'm not sure if yan parin ang offer)

hey, thanks. that's really interesting. what makes the difference between getting assigned to customer service and tech support? if you're already familiar with their products and okay with basic pc troubleshooting, can you already be eligible for tech support?

Customer Service support ranges from non-technical (product defects, returns, replacements, licensing..etc) stuff to semi-technical stuff. (Installation issues)

Tech Support deals with everything else after installation. If you feel that you have a firm grasp on Macromedia apps (latest version) then you could probably get in.

ive got a team mate who resigned.. he was here just last year(1 year na sya) and now after completing the clearance na sobrang matrabaho! he can get his sep pay!

grabeh clearance sa sykes.. they should give the sep pay nga kasi matrabaho goin to smpc, osma, rs and bct geesh..

we had a dinner meeting with one of the bosses of sykes.. and we opened the topic about having a building in alabang as well.. sana nga ma approve.

I got mine just 2 weeks ago. Ako naman, I only had to go sa RS, then OSMA na; dun ko na rin iniwan yung clearance ko. After a month ko nakuha yung sep pay ko. I thought nga na maliit lang makuha ko kasi 1 year 7 months ako sa Sykes, pero malaki-laki rin siya.

parang hindi ata november 30. it's always given on the first friday of december (ganun last year and 2 years ago.) di nila sinasabay sa suweldo. pero who knows. the earlier, the better

oo anne, thats it. nakaabot ako sa last time na nagbigay ng bonus ang sykes nung x'mas of '99 pa. di ko nga alam kung bonus yun o ano, medyo magulo pa nun e.
