Is this fair? Ano comment nyo?
I personally believe that promotion should be based on performance and qualifications!

Does any institution still practice this? The academe, the military, and even the government all take seniority into account, yes, but also consider accomplishment and capability.

Promotion based on seniority is the most desirable policy whether in the private sector or the government service. But this is no longer practiced. Kunwari mas senior ka ng isang taon, pero mas marami ka namang problemang ibinigay sa opisina mo kaysa yung mas junior sa iyo, it is management prerogative to select as to who is the more qualified and competent. Kaya ang masasabi ko lang, PEOPLE, WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD! :enlightened:

The basis for promotion in our company are performance and of course qualifications. If there are two or more employees are in equal footings and suited for the vacant position, then that is the only time seniority comes in.
