accenture, p&g, unilever, shell or SMC?

hey guys, if you were to choose to work for any of the 5 mentioned companies, which would you choose and why?

I heard about the Unilever Business Week and Shell Team Tryouts but i don't know what they're all about. Would anyone know anything about it?:rolleyes:

unless you have very good qualifications (high grades, inumerable job experience, etc.) i suggest you try your best on their exams and interviews.

sa hirap makahanap ng trabaho ngayon, ang sistema ay hindi ang aplikante ang namimili ng big time companies. The company does the selection.

so your qualifications better be good. or else you will be dissapointed.

shell. i guess work is hard, but i guess mas linya ko kung doon ako mag trabaho e. :)

Your career choice is yours alone.

The largest factor in your job happiness will be your direct boss.

However, the brand of the company you work does have an impact on your career. Any of the aforementioned companies will be a great addition to your resume. However, if you are considering an international career, most people do not know San Miguel outside of South East Asia. That being said, I know a lot of great managers who have stayed with SMC.

If you want a career in Marketing and Brand, go with P&G, Unilever. If you want a career in strategy, consider Shell and Accenture.

what cyberredz said is very true!! don't rely too much on your chances of getting accepted by these 5 companies... if i were you, apply ka lang ng apply in as many companies as possible... take as many exams, go to as many interviews... then if ever they do offer you any job positions, tsaka mo na problemahin yan!!

im tellin you, sobra stiff competition in these 5 companies... other than the exam (the accenture test was somehow difficult because of the time constraint while the p&g exam was relatively okay) you have to undergo pa rigid and extensive interviews... ako nga i've pending application pa with p&g and accenture but then la pa talga vacancies!! kaya hirap talga apply!!

btw... may nainterview na ba dito sa accenture?!?! can you guys give me tips kung panu interview nila?!?! need answers before mon!! thanks!!;)

listen kid, reality check.

Sa dami nang pinoy na walang trabaho ngayon, THEY choose who works for them, not the other way around.

If you had any sense then go ahead and apply for all those companies. Hindi ka huhulihin nang pulis, peksman. Tsaka ka na mamroblema pag binigyan ka na nang job offer.
