Good pm! I have taken the exams and interviews weeks ago. I passed both and I was told to be considered for a TSR position but I have to wait at least 3 weeks for the training. I can still wait at least a month coz I really had my eyes on amber since I live near the place (near d'Fort) and I've been told by the HR who interviewed me that TSR accounts are housed at the MarketMarket office of Ambergris. I didnt have my ops interview yet. The one who interviewed me said that I'll be signing the contract for CSR then she said, it will be best for me to be part of the TSR team. Then she said I have to wait for weeks since the training have yet to start for TSR. I really hope I would get in. Thanks again.

we cannot disclose any info on the salary.. benefits are likely the same with any call center. training really depends on the account where you will be. in our account, training is actually really easy and as the account gets bigger we do constant training to update ourselves.

Sa mga naga-apply, I am not saying na wag kayo pumasok dito. coz it could be one of the account that sucks na napasukan ko. pero sa totoo lang, from recruitment who promised me to get a TL position since I am qualified, to the OM, AM, AS, TL, Trainer... lahat sila magkakakilala. bawal ang bagong pasok kahit n performance mo higher than what they can provide. I am now an officer to where I am working right now and the account I got with Amber has still the same amount of people on their support, why? bulok ang mga officers. Don't give me the crap na yun lang ang gusto ng client. Hanggang dun na lang kasi bulok ang training nyo pag dating sa csr satisfaction.
I have been to Convergys, Sykes, eTelecare, ePerformax, Teletech, none of them is worst than ambergris. Sa salary na lang. lahat ng tech account 15k ang start almost a year ago pa, e sa amber kelan lang nagstart, this year. Hey r_69_e, I believe you have a position to say something to upper management, tell them that the salary that is offered for TSR is higher than 20k for Dell Manila. Top that!?
Just saying my insights. malay natin, iba na ngayon sa amber. :eek:

Tech accounts here at Amber get far lower than they should. Especially in the computer security account. Other contact centers who provide support for ISPs offer much higher pay. And not to disparage techs working in some of the big ISP accounts but the computer safety and security techs here have harder jobs by far.

If they would offer the same salary to the new techs for D*** then goodluck. They'll get the worst people or the rejects from the D*** tech account from the the other CCs.

The only thing keeping us here is the people (meaning the frontline people - the agents ), the supposed assets of Ambergris. Truly if that's the way management treats their assets I'd hate to see their houses and cars.

just want to say sumtin bout ambergris --- i applied here last june.. recruitment process was good.. interviewers was great, but when i met this DON < thats his name > he freaking held my resume for no reason at all...i was there ready to sign the contract... he said to me that i cannot work with dhell acct because i came from a company that handles dhell's acct blah blah and he said to me that he'll pass my resume to amber's HR but they never call me back...

thats how good Ambergris was to me :-)



now --- I became an "asset" of Convergys and got an offer from a diffrent call center with a nice position...


i could've been the "best" agent of amber but they just let me flew to a much better company...

just want to say sumtin bout ambergris --- i applied here last june.. recruitment process was good.. interviewers was great, but when i met this DON < thats his name > he freaking held my resume for no reason at all...i was there ready to sign the contract... he said to me that i cannot work with dhell acct because i came from a company that handles dhell's acct blah blah and he said to me that he'll pass my resume to amber's HR but they never call me back...

thats how good Ambergris was to me :-)



now --- I became an "asset" of Convergys and got an offer from a diffrent call center with a nice position...


i could've been the "best" agent of amber but they just let me flew to a much better company...


pls Amber people you are being paid to work and pls work hard and to your JOB ok :-)
