suddenly, it just occured to me that I want to WRITE. however, i dont have a single clue where to begin...

i was not much of a writer in my highschool and college days... i never joined any school paper... i hated book reports and term papers...

i am not widely-read nor could i honestly say that i have perfectly and flawlessly mastered the structure and system of the english language... sometimes i could even be grammatically incorrect...

i dunno... maybe someone could lay out some ideas here.. especially those who have mastered the art of WRITING... are there any writing schools i could go to? a creative writing seminar perhaps? any useful books i could buy?

thank you!

i have also noticed that there are PEXERS who are excellent writers (particularly at the Local and Foreign Issues forum)... i wish i could be like them...

wait, is this the right forum for me to discuss this?

It is OK for you to discuss the subject in this forum. Good writing, like good speaking, is an important skill in the working world.

However, you seem to have a good discussion already going on at The Academe. So I think it is better for us to close this thread now and let everyone post there instead.

Here is a link to the other thread. (http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=94579)
