I WATCH THIS SHOW!!!

I know it's baduy and cheesy and all that...
but I got hooked last sem break and now I can't bare to miss a single episode! (Well maybe 1 or two now and then).

I didn't watch it myself since I'm not really into telenovelas, but my girlfriend made me watch it when she started a new job which made her get home late and made her miss it. Tapos pinapakwento niya sa akin. Sabi ko OK, pero sa loob-loob ko I was dreading it. But after a couple of weeks of watching it, aba, nagustuhan ko and I couldn't bear to miss an episode. Oh well, tapos na siya last Friday. I heard that this was on the air for a very long time. Gabriela Spanic fan na tuloy ako. :)

Guhit, there's still 2 more episodes left, I think. There's an epilogue. I read about it in a La Usurpadora fan site! (Sheesh, I can't believe I'm admitting this :) ) Gabriela Spanic was Ms. Venezuela 1992. And she's married in real life to the guy who played Douglas Maldonado. Also, she has a twin!

I really liked watching this telenovela although it can get really dragging at times. The telenovela just finished last Friday with of course the lead characters getting back together and getting married. I know that there should still be a sequel or a continuation, Mas Usurpadora but I don't know if they'll be showing it since last Friday's episode had FIN or the end. Remember the telenovela, Preciosa, Channel 9 cut it for no apparent reason and made their own conclusion at the end.

Gosh! I was so disappointed coz channel 9 didn't air the epilogue.

Here's what was supposed to happen:
The setting is one year later and CD and Paulina have a baby girl named (sheesh)Paulita. The Brachos hire a nanny for the 3 children -- now this nanny <;i>;seems<;/i>; to be nice, but she really hates children and is in love with CD. Then Paulina finds out that she has cancer and has only 6 months left to live. She doesn't tell CD, and instead prepares the nanny to be CD's future wife coz she doesn't want him to be alone again. So she trains her to be classy, etc. etc. Then it's their anniversary party already, and the nanny buys poison to kill Paulina so that she can have CD all to herself. But she accidentaly drinks it herself and Paulina somehow finds out that she doesn't have cancer after all, but is pregnant again. There was some mistake in the hospital files or something. And Estefania is well again and takes her son back from Rodrigo and Patricia. The final, final scene takes place at the Bracho house where the entire family poses for a family portrait. Then they live happily ever after! :)
