I just want to know you opions regarding taking a shower after a rough workout. How long does one need to wait before hitting the shower? If I took a shower immediately or a few minutes after the exercise, would it cause any bad effects to my body whether in the short or long term?

pasma and babaho ka. you should wipe your sweat before hitting the shower. many athletes tend to go straight to the shower after the game. kasi yung pawis hindi nakakalabas ng katawan causing body odor. hindi lang sa underarms kundi sa buong katawan.

Pasma doesn't exist in the medical world. It's an old wives' tale, I'm sorry. You can jump into water anytime you want after a hard workout. The only thing you lose is sweat and an icky feeling. But a bit of warning, you might catch a cold, but not pasma.

I would suggest, to avoid cramping your muscles and to avoid the possibility of getting fever due to colds due to sudden change of body temperature, as well as possible headaches due to the same reason, you just giv yourself 5 minutes na walang gagawin before u hit the showers. After I workout, I give myself 5 minutes to undress and center my mind.

Thanks for helping dispell such nonsense. If it were true, all swimmers would have pasma and varicose veins. We do sweat a lot while swimming.

I used to be on a varsity swim team, and I don't recall seeing varicose veins on any of the women swimmers (and believe me, I looked quite closely).

I do the same, plus I do a routine of slow stretches and re-hydrate.

This is great information. I would like to know the fitness gyms from the strecth of Wilson to Annapolis. I just know there is clark hatch and planet fitness in the Wilson area and Slimmers World in the Annapolis area. Any other? What time do they normally open in the morning?

Thanks Brandon! So it must've been all in my mind, that sure saves alot of time.

kNIGHT, where exactly do you live? Those gyms you mentioned are the only ones I know of, maybe there a couple of more. Try going to Bramante, it's at Renaissance near Ultra. Their membership is much cheaper than Clark Hatch and not too many people go there, well except maybe during the peak hours.
