To be honest, mahirap talagang makahanap ng trabaho for undergraduates. Ako nga 6 units na lang (to be completed this coming sem) pero hirap pa ring makahanap ng matinong trabaho because companies would always prefer graduates...which is a big flaw of our employment system (IMO that policy sucks esp. for jobs which really doesn't require you to be a graduate just to get in like call center agents; pero kung kelangang grad ka at me expertise, wala na tayong magagawa run)

But to answer your query, I think there are some call centers that hire undergrads. I even saw an ad in the Pex classifieds where a new call center of PLDT (Vocativ) has job openings for undergraduates on a project basis.

The kick is: You'll be working part-time as a CSR (call center agent), but I think you'll only be required to work once a week (I verified that when I called up PLDT through the number which was posted in the following thread). Just go to this thread (http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=95277) so you'll know more about it. The e-mail address where you can send in your resume is jobs@epldt.com

I also know of 2 other call centers which accept undergrads (one of which until recently used to accept undergrads). Dun sa sinasabi kong "used to", I applied there, umabot ako sa final interview pero nadale ako sa bagong policy nila where they have already discouraged undergrads to apply for them; they put my papers on hold and asked me to get back to them once I finish my degree.

You may also wanna try your luck in C-Cube along the Eastwood City, Libis area. I just dunno if they're still accepting undergrads.

Hope I helped you.

By the way, sa iba dyan, me alam pa din ba kayong pwedeng pasukang MATINONG trabaho for undergrads?

That's true! The employment system in the Philippines sucks. I mean, students normally have time to spare between classes if they schedule their classes correctly.

That's one of the things I admire about students in the U.S.

Here, they allow college students to work as interns, part-time employees or co-ops. I've met people who have been working since they were freshmen!

Hopefully, after I graduate and go back I can make a rule for the company I work that will allow for interns or part-time workers.
