2.education-course n major
3.experience
4.hardware proficiency
5.software proficiency
6.other professional skills
7.interest.
8.seminars

I suggest you use the following format:

1. Personal Information
2. Job Objective
3. Summary of Experience
4. Work Experience Details
5. Educational Background
6. Training/Seminars
7. Other Skills
8. Outside Interests
9. References

The reason why I have educational background to the end is you would want to emphasize your work experience more rather than the school you came from or the course you took, especially if you're applying abroad.

If you're applying in the Philippines and come from a prominent school, you may want to move this up, say, after job objective.

The summary of experience should depend on the type of job you're applying for - give prominence to those experience that are more applicable than others. It should not be as simple as listing all your software and hardware skills. You have to make it appear that you thought about writing your resume and not just submitting a generic one.

I also suggest writing it in paragraph/essay rather than bullet format. It implies that you have good written communication skills.

Mas ok yung format kung ganito

Name
Home address
Tel/cellphone

Software Proficiency :
bahala ka na ,including programming language

Hardware Proficiency :
Bahala ka na

Work Experience

(Kung Meron)
pero dapat detail ka

OJT Experience :
( kung meron )

Seminars/trainings

Kaya naman nsa taas kaagad yun SOftware and hardware proficency mo.

Kung IT resume, syempe after ng pangalan and contact nos.

"HE MUST BE HIRED"(in red ink).Tapos may pirma ng isa sa mga board of director.

I remember instant sysad sya ng domino server namin.

kawawang nilalang.

The samples are all okay, IMHO. The thing is, make sure you stress your strengths well enough, and that your areas of expertise will be of use to the company. Knowledgeable in Oracle 8i and proficient in MS Word won't be as appealing as Knowledgeable in MS Word and proficient in Oracle 8i. Oh, and keep it short. I know for a fact that HR people normally don't go beyond the second page... it's too boring and not worth the trouble. That's why we were taught how to organize the resume in such a way that everything will fit in two pages.

issit ok to make 2 kinds, a 1 page resume and a comprehensive resume. sa one page rez ay papakita mo lang yung kelan nilang malaman, tapos dun din nakalagay yung 'refer to my comprehensive rez for more detail'.?

Basta- be sure na kung ano man ang ilagay mo sa resume mo, kaya mong panindigan.

Ika nga- pag nilagay mong "Knowledgeable in <skill/technology>"- be sure na talagang alam mo yun (tipong di lang natutunan sa seminar- or sa isang subject)

Remember: Anything you put in your resume can and will be used against you ;)
