Hi,
Did you guys notice that sometimes on bright light there are bubbles you see?
Is there a way to remove those?
Just wondering...

i notice those swimming bubblet-like thingies too when i squint on a bright light. i read somewhere that they're actually blood particles. can the eye experts verify this?

Vitreous floaters are usually bits of pigments that "float" around in the gel ("vitreous humor") of your eye. They may or may not eventually get absorbed by the body. They are usually described by the patient as spots of various shapes (mukhang langaw, mukhang buhok, mukhang spider etc, depending on the shape of the floater itself) and color (mostly black, sometimes red or white).
Vitreous floaters are USUALLY harmless, and they are usually age and stress related.
However, it would not be wise to altogether dismiss the appearance of such "floaters". They may signal problems in the vitreo retinal cavity like vitreous hemorrhage or a beginning retinal detachment.
A sudden increase in numbers of such "floaters" or associated symptoms (eye pain, glare, flashing lights, blurring of vision, etc.) should warrant a trip to your ophthalmologist's clinic.

read this somewhere:
eye clinic receptionist: what's the problem?
patient: i've been seeing spots.
receptionist: have you seen a doctor?
patient: nope, just spots.

This is waaaaay off-topic, but I'm just curious and maybe the eye doctors (or anyone) could answer me this: Why are things clearer when we squint? Thanks. :beam:

^^^ Me too! Nung bata ako kala ko din me super powers ako! Bata talaga...
I even told my cousin "Kuya, nakakakita ako ng molecules!" His answer was "Ano ka?! sa microscope lang nakikita ang molecules!" Bwa hahahaha! (as if sa microscope nga nakikita ang molecules!)
I read somewhere that floaters are debris, remnants nung formation ng eyeballs when we were just forming inside the womb...

I dont know if it is muscae volitantes that I see. I only see some very small transparent bubbles or circles with some line or hair like whenever I look into the skies in a bright day. Try it you might see it... I only experience it when I look into the sky in a bright day. then if ever you try to blink or look in a different angle the "bubble" hair "invicible hair" like also follows...
I also see some very small white particles that are moving and colliding with each other when I concentrately look into the white sky on a bright day.. what could it be? Im sure its not in my eye anymore... (could it be particles in the air?)
