May nagpa-IPL na po ba dito? Two minutes lang daw ang procedure. Any ideas?

hi! i was there din last saturday. baka nag-abot pa tayo dun. my first visit. around 2-3pm ako nandun. I was prescribed the same set of medicine with yours, pero instead of acnetrex, he gave me acnotin.

ay oo, galing na ko dun. two attempts, hindi ako umabot sa cut-off time nila, tues & thurs lang kasi yung derma, and have to be there before 8am.

Andun din po ako... baka nagpangabot po tayong lahat. Andun po ako ng 430 pm, pero naisalang po ako ng 630 pm. Ginawa na daw 1230 yung start ng clinic kasi inaabot sila ng 10 pm kung 2pm ang start. Mukhang pagod na din sina doc at staff. Acnotin din nabigay kasi naubusan daw ng acnetrex xyung drug company.

Sana po magstart na sina doc mike ng umaga dahil ang dami dami na ng pasyente.

Nagresearch ako sa IPL. According to Dr. Chua, the procedure only takes about 2 minutes (please do correct me if I'm wrong). But according to various websites, the procedure takes 15-20 minutes whatever the problem/s on the skin.

Ok, bakit kaya ganun?

I had it before , di naman umabot ng 15 minutes. I had it wth another derma, umabot kami ng 5 mins, only because matagal ang interval ng zaps ( and aray ako ng aray). With Dr, Mike, same din di naman ganun kabilis , but ang naobsrve ko, continuosu ang tira nya, and i guess the frozen gel helped kaya di masakit. Ask mo na lang sya para sure. If in doubt, dont do it, altho personally, i loved it. ( but short na ko sa budget dahil kay Ondoy)

mga 5 to 10 mins nga pala sa previous derma, kasi time out ako ng time out!

How much ang consultation kay Dr. Chua? Takot ako magpunta sa mga derma kasi baka magprescribe sila sakin ng mga katakot takot na medicines... My only problem lang talaga is yung occassional pimples ko (2-3 pimples), and nagiiwan ng mga scars...

How about Dr. Selwyn Crisostomo in Rob galleria? may nakatry na ba sa kanya? Coz I have a friend na gumanda yung face nya talaga,though di naman talaga sya pinipimples but I can say na kutis artista sya, rosy cheeks and talagang parang flawless ang dating.. and medyo pricey nga lang ang consultation P800 daw plus yung medicines..

Guys, about IPL, matatanggal nya yung acne scars mo na butas butas ganun ba un? Like lets say si Jose Manalo ng Eat Bulaga may pagasa mwala yung dots nya by undergoing that IPL? Interested ako cuz I have these marks from chickenpox and acne.

Siguro depends on the severity of scars, but my really deep scar from pox didnt go away, but my icepick scars really improved and my dark marks also.

Yo mga kakosa nakapagpa diamond peel na ko kay doc chua and to be honest parang na sayang yung 1k ko. T_T

i need your advices guys: gusto ko sanang magpafacial pero sabi ng friends ko masakit daw lalo na *** first kaya ndi ko pa matry.
wala naman po akong facial issue, gusto ko lang kuminis lalo *** face ko na "parang artista". Major problem ko na siguro is *** peeling ko sa nose part at pagiging dark ng skin ko sa nose. as in maitim *** ilong ko compared sa buong face ko e. pero ndi ko naman sya pnproblema ****.

pero bumabaw naman ban yung mga pock marks?

@joseph: ok lang, but not significant. naexplain naman nya na di gaano effect sa pox but may improvement.

nung saturday, pumunta ako sa zephyris skin clinic kay dra.flores....nag pa medical facial ako with peel (10% tca peel with 1% tret.) so far so good even the meds, ok sakin, di ako nag kabreakout after unlike sa ibang meds na natry ko, after a day or 2, nagkakabreakout ako. free consultation pa, nakapagspend lang ako ng 2300 with meds na....ang problem ko lang kasi start na naman ng pasukan, eh nag pepeel parin ako now..
