Bad trip talaga yang injury bug. Ang ipinagdadasal ko na lang eh sana naman, ngayon lang mangyari yan habang maaga pa. Sana naman by December up to playoffs, complete na yung lineup ng Magic.

5-1. Let's go MAGIC!

The Thunder are beating the crap out of the Magic. A 30-point lead for Durant and co. with only 5 mins. in the final qtr.

5-2

Ugh, sad sad sight for the Magic earlier today. Just plain embarrassing. i know we are missing some key stars and players, but getting blown out by the Thunder? Ugh.

Ganyan mangyayari kapag ayaw maglaro ng depensa ang buong team.

ZERO blocks for Dwight? Seriously?

On the other hand

MAYBE It's not a shame to be blown up by the OKC after all

This year the Thunder are holding the opponent to just 97.2 points per 100 possessions, good for 4th best in the league at this time! Let that soak in for a second. Better than teams like Cleveland, Dallas and the Lakers…(and Orlando). We are also 4th in points allowed per game at 89.2.

No wonder OKC gave the Lakers a hard time in their first game this season

Good win over the Bobcats. Vince came off the bench and helped the second unit stretch the lead to 20 during the first half and sustaining it in the fourth. We were poor offensively during the second half but we came up with key stops that halted the offensively-challenged Bobcats' run.

Tomorrow is the first big test of the young season for the Magic as they take on LBJ and the Cleveland Cavaliers on their first nationally televised game. It should be fun.

Oh well,

Bagsak.

You're not gonna win with Dwight's posting borderline stats and being in heavy foul trouble.

As much as possible, I don't wanna make excuses. But Lewis and Anderson being out makes it tougher for Dwight to operate inside. It also doesn't help that Dwight is not getting the favorable calls he got last season. He's posting a decrease in blocks as well as in playing minutes because of the dubious calls from the referees.

Anyway, Orlando needs to toughen up on defense. Allowing 100 points in 6 out of 9 games won't get it done against the rest of the big three of the east.

Oh how I miss an improving Ryan Anderson. Hope he gets back already. Orlando on the other hand, keeps New Jersey winless. Despite a triple-double from the Magic's former point guard. Orlando pulled away in the 3rd. This games ends Rashard's 10 game suspension! Yay!

Rashard is back later as well as Ryan Anderson. Jameer is not feeling well but is expected to play. Gortat would probably not play later because of illness. Finally, we can have a nice rotation with Shard starting and Rhyno coming off the bench. Hopefully, Dwight can stay out of foul trouble because he has no viable backup with Gortat and Foyle out (I don't know if Bass can play a little center).

But all in all, I'm excited for the game later against the new-look Charlotte Bobcats. Hopefully, Rashard would come out smoking. I expect the team defense also to improve with him back.

Let's go MAGIC!

Lewis and Anderson made their return but The Polish Hammer didn't play. Talagang 'di na ata makukumpleto ang team.

Personally, i expected that he can become the second string point guard by December. Happy to admit that i was wrong as he's the main PG off the bench.

Respectable numbers for a point too, i heard in the Bobcats-Magic broadcast that he's number two in assists to turnover ratio in the entire league so i think he's doing his job.

Of course, don't expect him to be a shutdown defender. If any, that is what the Magic is missing that designated defender against elite point guards because Jameer Nelson is too damn short (and Jwill can't play a lick of D)

Marc Stein of ESPN just reported on his Twitter that Jameer Nelson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday and will be out 4-6 weeks. Injury was sustained in the 4th Q of the Bobcats game.

FUUUUUCKKKKK!!! I cannot believe this. Right after Shard came back, this happens. The basketball gods must really hate the Magic for this to happen. The curse of Grant Hill could still be lingering over this franchise.

Grrrrrr! I'm so pissed off right now. We cannot catch a break.

I think it's safer to say that both teams that battled each other in the 09 NBA Finals are getting bitten by the injury bug

CJ Watson would've been the insurance in case of the annual Jameer injury. Sayang. J-Will can still play but I'm not quite sure if he can log starter minutes. Lolo AJ is well Lolo AJ. It's f*ckin' time for Vince to step up and prove to everyone that he can be a playmaker contrary to what the so-called experts and VC haters think.

Otis Smith is probably in a dilemma right now. Should he use the trade exception from the Hedo trade? Should he go after AI a.k.a. cANSWER? Seriously, no to AI please!

Orlando's sched for the 4-6 weeks that Jameer will miss...

Nov 18 Oklahoma City
Nov 20 @ Boston
Nov 22 @ Toronto
Nov 25 Miami
Nov 26 @ Atlanta

Nov 28 @ Milwaukee
Nov 29 @ NY Knicks
Dec 2 NY Knicks
Dec 5 @ Golden State
Dec 8 @ LA Clippers
Dec 10 @ Utah
Dec 11 @ Phoenix

Dec 14 Indiana
Dec 16 Toronto
Dec 17 @ Miami
Dec 19 Portland
Dec 21 Utah

Dec 23 Houston
Dec 25 Boston
Dec 30 Milwaukee

Orlando will have 2 road trips (3-game swing in the east and 4-game swing out west) and a tougher sched for that span. We got 2 games each against Boston, Miami, Toronto & Utah and one game each against Phoenix, Atlanta and Portland. Ouch!

Big big Jwill fan here but i am sure he can NOT handle starter minutes (consistently) at this point in his career.

When the game goes defensive, i feel that's where Orlando will struggle (then again, we knew that in the first part of the season)--- and that will happen again in the next 1-2 months... Time to step up for the "stoppers" to prove their worth namely Pietrus and Barnes (for the wings obviously) as Dwight takes care of the inside.
