WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL THREAD OF MS. MARIA LIEZEL GARCIA, THE R&B SINGING GODDESS!

The thread started when Miss Maria Liezel Garcia, also known as Lizzie, has been seen on the Second Season of Pinoy Dream Academy, showing a promising talent and shining like a star with her unique voice and sensational beauty, which caught the attention and captured the hearts of thousands of Filipino people all over the globe.

Since then, the thread has always become active, regularly visited by Liezel's friends and fans (the Liezelians/Liezelytes and other supporters), and became the official thread of Liezel Garcia.

Ms. Liezel Garcia started to visit and post on the Liezelian thread on October 12, 2008 and is spending some time to chat with her supporters up to this day.

Notes on Zhel:
Probably her lola had great dreams for Zhel, thus the early morning trainings at 5:00 when she was too young to even appreciate what it could mean for her later in life.All she knew was that people would go crazy over her whenever she was given the microphone and made to sing in public.

She was able to use this talent as she grew up, gaining popularity in her hometown as she reaped first prizes in local singing contests.Now that she has moved on to a grander scale, it’s just too bad that her lola can’t watch and hear her sing anymore.

But what her lola can’t hear, perhaps her father can. He was never there to listen to her in her every singing contest; he left the family when she was six years old and was never heard from again until she was 20, then disappeared again.Maybe, inside the Academy, her voice will be able to reach out to her father and make him come home again.

Liezel and the Liezelians have met not only once nor by accident.. They shared a lot of happy memories together, and there will be a lot more fun soon!

November 23, 2008 - Finally, the first-ever Get Together Party of Liezelians with Liezel and some friends and family was materialized. Lots of games, food and basically some getting-to-know-each-other moments with everyone who is present in Henry's Grille, QC.

December 20, 2008 - The second meeting of Liezelians and Liezel happened at Eastwood where the PDA2 Scholars had a Christmas Show. More bonding moments here! But most of all, it was Liezel's Birthday, so the Liezelians gave some gifts and other surprises. The night ended at Nipa Hut where Liezel invited them for dinner. (Was it a dinner?

)

February 13, 2009 - The PDA2 Scholar's First Concert at Ratsky's Morato. Liezel, as ever, impressed everyone with her vocal prowess and sexy dance moves while the Liezelians danced and partied throughout the show!

February 22, 2009 - The Liezelians drove all the way down to Sta. Rosa, Laguna to support Liezel on her SM Mall Show. But not only that, they visited the house of the youngest among the Liezelians.

March 25, 2009 - The last Get-Together to date. The Liezelians again gathered and showed their support to Miss Liezel Garcia in Bagaberde Grill. Some made an effort to drop by the place for few minutes just to see other Liezelians and Liezel as well. One of the Liezelians had a duet with Liezel on stage that night.

Everyone is looking forward to the next Get-Together! When will it be?
